Yesterday i visited my Grandad in hopsital who had just had a back operation. he is doing really well

Back operations are so scary. You never know if the persons gonna be better or worse. It's like a 50/50 chance in a lot of cases. It's great to hear that he's doing well Cayce

I work all day tomorrow so I may not be on here until Saturday, idk. And after work I've got myself a date.

and to answer your question about the comstumes, no at my work we don't dress up, first of all we are not allowed and second Halloween is not such a big deal here in Holland as it is in America

I didn’t even think about us being from different countries. That makes the answers all the more interesting. I was talking to a girl one time from India and she was saying that they have people dressed as witches and whatnot all the time there so they didn’t need a special holiday for it. That was her response to someone asking her if they celebrate Halloween over there. She was cool.

I was asking mainly because I didn’t know how common it was for the workplace to want you to dress in costume. I work at an office and it’s all Halloween decorated and there’s going to be a potluck next Friday and there are lots of fliers around the building to make sure everyone is informed. The bottom of the flier says: Dress in the most sinister fashion or suffer the consequences! We will have prizes for the person voted to have 1) scariest 2) most creative and 3) humorous costumes. This office can get quite stuffy in here sometimes so I’m shocked that they’re letting us come in without a business suit-type outfit on. It just got me thinking that maybe I’ve been out of the workforce for too long and everybody’s encouraged to do it now days.

This weekend i went to Berry (a small town) with my mum, twin sister, sister and her boyfriend. It was really fun. i love that town

No it's not a guy from my office. There's no men there that aren't married. I'm doing this new online dating thing

This week's guy went a lot better than last weeks. He was from Mexico City and moved to the states seven years ago barely knowing any English when he got here and he's a real hard worker. All things I didn't know before the date. He's pretty normal and we're going out again this Wednesday.

Right after that I got sick and was sick for the rest of the weekend. Well the weekends are so short so if you're sick one day my guess is you'll be sick the next but still...it's nothing I planned on. At least I got lots of rest which was different. I should be in for work tomorrow.

I had a great weekend! I went to the movies on Saturday night with my best friend and wanted to go see "my best friends girl" but it was full so we couldn't get it so then we decided to go to "Eagle eye" with Shia Labeouf, that is really an amazing movie, I loved it! And before the movie was showed they showed the BOL trailer so I was freakin out in the theatre

and on the inside and outside of the theatre there were several posters and billboards from BOL is was awesome to see Leo and Russel so big!

Krysie - I loved the pictures of the party and your costume is awesome!

and yes thre are three siblings in my family, nope there are no brothers just us girls, and were pretty close in age so we all get along really well. My Sister Kirstie is only one grade younger. She is in year 10 right now, we also get along with her boyfriend. hes nice
