The hurricane knocked out the power. After two whole very LONG weeks, I finally got it back today! Thank God!!!

How are you all?!

No damage btw except for fence but that is fixed now and we are safe!

The storm was really scary though.

How was your trip? My interview went very well and they showed me around the college i had fun there. the college is very big. I enrolled and had to fill out some forms also i had to pay a deposit. Im glad i enrolled

Today we had lunch at McDonalds as it was for my cousin Coopers 7th birthday. it was fun

it's amazing how long a few weeks can seem. I started working two weeks ago, but it feels alot longer than that. I'm happy i got the job, i really am

. I was worrying over nothing really - like i always do. I was so nervous on the first day though, i just wanted to get off the bus a few stops earlier and disappear for a while..but i went to my first day of work of course. lol. Most people there are really nice and i like talking to them. Mostly I've just been doing office duties like filing, making sure the photocopying room is stocked and clean and just general errands that need to be done. Two other girls started the same time as me, and i already knew one from a class i was taking so i was very releaved to find that out! They are really nice and i hang with them at work mostly, i like that we can work together - one man calls us the three muskateers (sp?)

. Although i haven't really been formally introduced to all of the workers, i've spoken to most in the photocopying room from time to time and they are very polite....its amazing how many good looking young accountants work there - i was very shocked...and happy about that!!

a bit of eye candy never hurt a girl

. so all in all, it's going well. I'll always hate getting up early though!

enough about me, how are you all? I've missed you like crazy!!!!!

The moment I was given an opportunity to temporarily take the job my aunt had before she left the planet I jumped at it. Never mind that they just need help until they get caught up. I wanted to know what her work-life was like. I'm working in the safety rewards department of an insurance company visiting all 32 of their convalescent facilities quarterly with catered safety luncheons and whatnot. This week I was in a town I've never heard of called Visalia where I stayed two nights and actually had some much needed fun

well hello girls.

Rach- why have you been sad? I was feeling abit sad today for no reason really. just that i still need to get used to working so much and the public transports really annoying me. I just wanted to get home straight after work but i had to sit on a bus for 45 minutes and i turned on my cell phone to see that my mother had offered to drive me home but i didn't get until it was too late and she was already home. It was just one of those days really. I'm missing my friends who are on a break from their school but i won't get to see them much anyway because I'm working. oh well, it's not that bad really. Like i said, there was no reason for it really. I'm glad you are enjoying the travel for your work

Not much, really. Spending time with the boyfriend and watching my sister's dog. That's been pretty much been it. Almost got a job, but the one I was replacing changed his mind, so I'm still unemployed.

Cayce, one of my sisters' guy friends came over and they were wanting movie suggestions and I asked if he’d seen House of Wax, he said no and since two of my other sisters were there who hadn’t seen it either I put it on. Anyways, in the movie theater of the wax town the movie being played was What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? which was funny 'cause in my head I said, I was just talking with Cayce about Bette Davis on

Amy, I hate feeling like I'm missing out, I've been there too

In my life right now I don't feel like I have anyone to lean on and part of me just wants to break. But then I think, yikes stop being weak and grow up. That doesn't help much though. I certainly wasn't raised to need anyone but that doesn't stop me from feeling like I need it. I worry about my mom relapsing all the time and imo, she's the more honorable parent out of the two. Did I tell you they're getting a divorce? After thirty years of marriage. It's probably for the best.
