Sarah Wayne Callies - Time to Say Goodbye: Stepping down as Mod!

It's only been a few months since I started as moderator but I've been a member of this board for nearly 2 years. It's been a place where I can come to post about one of my favorite actresses, catch up on news and enjoy making friends with many people from around the world. It's definiately been a whirlwind 2 years. However, my time on the board has come to an end. It's not permanent but at this point in time it is something that needs to be done. So, I'm officially stepping down as moderator and will be having a short time away from posting.

The decision has not been an easy one. I've tossed the questions around in my head for days but in the end it's not fair to keep the position when I have no time. As many of you will know, I'm moving to the USA in 4 weeks and my time is currently filled with work commitments and family time. I don't know exactly how much time I will have for the internet use once I'm living and working on the States, although I hope to still post regularly when time permits.

When I took on the role as moderator, I was fully committed however I can see and feel that my life and interests are changing daily and lately I feel it more of a chore to post lately much more then a passion I used to have due to many reasons. I know some will be disappointed as they were concerened about commitment but I feel I'm only doing what is in the board's best interest. It's not fair to have a temporary moderator, the board needs a committed and passionate poster (like Jen!) and at the moment, it's no longer me.

So, thanks everyone for the past 2 years of amazing times. I've meet some fanatstic and lifetime friends who I'll cherish forever. I hope to keep posting from time to time, as well as keep in touch with everyone. I really want to thank Jen. You have never given up on me, always been there and shown support and encourgement when I lacked it. Your a great friend, poster and mod, Jen :o)

This is sad because i do know that you do love the board.. but i totally understand your reasons and respect them!
You have been a great Mod! And i do hope when time permits you'll post as much as you can!

Such sad news but understandable. We'll miss you big time and hope to see you posting when the time allows.
