Stay to the Lights

It has come to my attention that i need to settle some things.

* If you are not a shipper, do not go into a particular thread that you do not like
* Treat others with respect, how you want to be treated
* When in OT, make sure you acknowledge everyone, do not make people feel left out. ALWAYS put the person's name whom you are speaking to, in front of your post. So it does not seem you are just making conversation with one person only.(Because that can make others feel uncomfortable)
*Dont just communicate to one poster only.
*If you have a problem with someone, if you can't solve your issues between you then come to me.

We are all here to get along, i will not appreciate any attutude taking at any time, no matter the topic.
Nobody owns or runs this board, it is not your. It is for everyone, so do not try to act like your in control of it, or of its posters.

This is the main point i would like to state
Do not ignore other poster's ideas, posts, messages. As much as possible we like to have an open board where people will feel that they aren't being neglected. Encourage newbies or old posters to post and discuss with the rest of the group.

Thanks Jen. I agree in general. I just do not want this to become like really strict. We can't answer to every single post.

I agree and I'm mostly just on the OT. I'll try to talk somehow with everyone even if it's small talk.

I Didnt think there was any sort of problems with everyone breaking the rules!

Isnt that acutally WORSE? to put someones name, and single them out, and like make the conversation ONLY with one person!? Shouldnt we be talking to EVERYONE, and not just put one person's name, but OPEN the conversation up to EVERYONE? So should we just open conversations open to everyone!?... The whole thing with putting someones name, was just that it got confusing when there were many different conversations going on with different people, but if we are FORCED to put someones name, that wouldnt that be cutting it off from others to get involved, and leaving the conversation open to everyone?
I dunno, just an idea?

I acutally thought that our board is open to everyone, and welcoming, there have been soo many new posters around....
I just wouldnt want to see any rules back firing and cuasing More probelms then there was in the beginning.

I agree.... and gah sounds like there's a lot of tension here and i don't like that... people need to feel welcome on this board !

Karen - Yes the whole point is to talk to everyone, but if you don't put their names.. how do we know who you are talking to.. and.. not doing so..would seem as if you are having a one on one conversation with someone

I mean.. if there are 5 people in the thread.. do this..

*insert name* ... talk whatever.....

*insert name* - talk....

etc..

to show who that conversation is in regards, i dont see it as singling people out.

I'm not saying anyone is breaking these rules, its just a reminder.

We do that everytime we're on OT if you take a look.

It's just these last few weeks there have been tension that wasnt here before, and it's pissing me off.
