Since things have been pretty dead around here lately and nothing new to discuss, i thought we could get out our dvds, or watch clips of episodes and we'll discuss our thoughts about them.

I'm gonna start with an episode every few weeks of Prison Break, starting with S1.
So get out your dvds, or if you dont have them.. i believe there are places you can watch online

I loved her from the beginning!

LOVED IT! They have amazing chemistry.

What was your first impression of Sarah/Sara? I loved her, i was curious as well and couldn't wait to see her develop.
What did you like about this scene? I liked how she wasn't all business that she could laugh.. even with an inmate. I loved that she thought even inmates were human as well.
What is your favourite quote from this episode, Sarah wise?I'm not sure exactly, i think "I believe being part of the solution, not the problem"

I loved her smile and laugh when Michael talks about Ghandi. Its so cute, its like she never expected to laugh especially with a new prisoner.
And him knowing about her quote i think got her interested

Thanks for opening Jen! It's a wonderful idea. Damn I watched the pilot so much time ago, it is still one of my favourite episodes to date. Just got everything planned out superbly.

What was your first impression of Sarah/Sara? I definitely thought she was an interesting character from the start! She seemed so out of the doctor convention with her smiling and laughing with Michael and that made it all the more easy to like her. Her chemistry with Went right from the start shines so bright in this episode, that little scene is so cute!
What did you like about this scene? I liked her professionalism but at the same time she was sociable and outgoing and made Michael seem at ease. I like her bantering.
What is your favourite quote from this episode, Sarah wise? It's not actually a quote but definitely her reaction to Michael mentioning her father. She totally refused to answer directly but her face said it all. That was good acting and it made all their problems come out so strognly in just one second.

Yeah, the thing with Michael mentioning her Father.. i'm sure she was confused on how he knew that and maybe thought it was too personal so she didn't answer but her face said it all as you said Chrissie.

I think it's easy to know the name of the Governow, so Michael's question was pretty lecit and normal. Her reaction on the other hand was so strong, it definitely showed there was a history behind that look.

Yeah you have a point there, unless you just werent from IL you might not know the governer.

Her reaction did indeed tell that there was more to the story. her eyes give away everything.

I know her eyes are like so expressive, and right from the pilot she showed clearly that therewas more to Sara than just being the doctor who could fall for him.

What was your first impression of Sarah/Sara? Boring, at first. Then she got interesting later on.

Adie puts forward an interesting point there. While a lot of people found Sara interesting from the start, there were many others (I personally know) that found her boring and totally insignificant at first. Then, while the episodes moved on, especially in the riot, she came out more and people started liking her courage.

Yeah, i could totally see how not everyone instantly thought she was interesting. I had a feeling that they would not introduce someone only for a few episodes.

What was your first impression of Sarah/Sara? I loved her the minute I seen her. The only woman in a show full of men, I was really intrigued with the storyline as to how she would play a significant part and be a central character.
What did you like about this scene? The fact she was very professional and you could see she took her job serious but at the same time she wanted to get to know Michael on a more friendler/personal level, social wise and sort of make the atmosphere more calm and friendly.
What is your favourite quote from this episode, Sarah wise? I have to agree with Jen, "I believe being part of the solution, not the problem".

What was your first impression of Sarah/Sara? I immediatly loved her, it was good to see a woman between all those men in prison and I loved her interaction with Michael

What did you like about this scene? I just was there very first scene and Sara tried to see the good in every prison but what she didn't know that Michael already was a good man and that he was in prison to save his brother and I just love the interaction and tension between them

What is your favourite quote from this episode, Sarah wise? "I believe being part of the solution, not the problem". with that she really showed that she tries to see good in every single person no matter what did they..

Miranda, i also loved that she was woman in a Man's Prison. I got interested on why she would work there, her motivation etc..
