Plot:

While at the her own Wedding reception, Sara gets arrested for Christina's murder and gets sent to Prison.
Michael is determined to find a way to break her out with help from a few friends.

Jen, when you told me it would air on TV in the UK, I didn't think it would be so early. I thought it would be closer to the dvd release date.

I'm re-watching, so i'll post as i watch

In the beginning, i love the background.. and i love the fact they had their wedding on a beach. I always felt that suited them more than a church wedding.
And Michael's "Now or Never" hah nice buddy.

The reception was cute, with Sara and Sucre dancing, while Michael just watches. Some peace....

for a few minutes, before the cops arrives, not to arrest Michael or Lincoln... but Sara.
When they said for the murder of Sara, you could tell Michael and Sara's face was like "Oh god, so it comes back to bite me in the butt"

I know some of the guards at Fox River were bad, but nothing compared to this.. beating someone up while they are pregnant, ganging up on her just because some may have lost their jobs after the whole escape thing back at Fox River. Get over it.

Ah Gretchen. Nice to see you again, although not liking that haircut.. what is she going for? Butch?

And i liked that she was warning Sara, and telling her about getting protection.
Poor Sara, can't imagine how she would feel knowing that when she gives birth she'll never see her child again.

The look on Lincoln and Sucre's face when Michael said there was only one thing to do, to break to Sara.. their faces was like "Oh no, not again"

You could just see it, they knew what he was thinking and was going to say, hah

Now we know where that scar came from, from the finale. 'Daddy' burned her, as means of committment.

Ouch, that would be a killer.
I liked the scene between Sara and Gretchen outside, sure some intensity going on there.

I have a feeling the building Michael went into, was to get tests done regarding his tumor.

Aw Michael must have taught Sara how to make origami, heh love the codes between them. They really are the perfect pair.

The Michael and Sara scene, aww must be so hard for them being away from each other especially just after they got married.
This warden just does not have a care in her whole body. Bitch!

Heh getting help from T-Bag? hah, yeah never to be trusted.
but of course he wants something in return, as he always does.

Paracute Michael? Little risky. But if anyone can pull it off he can.

heh i love this conversation between Michael and Sara. The way he is making it sound, its as if they are breaking up, but its about the breakout

He sure is smart.

Gosh, everyone is out for Sara now that a bounty is on her head and everyone knows about it.
You'd be surprised what some people would do for that amount of money.
But yay gretchen came to Sara's rescue in the bathroom, without her Sara probably would have ended up dead.

I think Michael knew there was a possibility that he may not make it out, so he was just making preparations, trusting Alex to make sure Linc and Sara get that Disc.

Im glad it seem Sara and Gretchen are teaming up against the others, so they can make it outside.
I like that Sara was taking charge and said, she would think of something to do.

heh, Sara and Gretchen are fighting the other inmates and guards, go girl! that was a good scene, even if gretchen did get stabbed in the leg.
They sure can protect themselves.

Ahaha, nice, they thought Michael was in the paracute, but in was just a fake out. That's a nice one. Smart too.

I kinda wish Gretchen had made it out with Sara but least she didn't give up Sara.
And i love Gretchen "God, he is always here"

kinda reminds me Abruzzi's death scene.
I sure hope that Sara does send the bracelet to Gretchen's daughter. At least it wasn't be a waste

Michael electrocuting himself, still makes me want to bawl even though i know the reasons he did it.

Lincoln being in denial about Michael not coming back was sad, and Sara is in shock.
But Mahone seemed to know what happened, maybe Michael confided in him? As he didn't seem surprised.

Ah, T-Bag, even though he told the authorities about the escape, he still gets in trouble

See T-bag you can't do anything right.

It seems Michael's tumor was back, as i suspected and he probably didn't have time left.
And he did the only thing possible, to save his wife and unborn child, he sacrificed himself. If that isn't the greatest sacrifice for love, i don't know what is.

Aww, Sara and Sucre hugged. But i do gotta note. since when did he have so much hair, sorry Sucre, i prefer you without.

At first i thought maybe Mahone was selling them out with the FBI, but really he was only making the Feds believe he was helping them when all the time he was helping his friends.

Gotta love you.

I'm glad it seems Sara and Mahone are on better terms though i love Sara's "thank you" as Mahone was leaving the riverfront.

Now the final scene. Michael's video he made for Sara and Linc.
I loved his promises. Making Linc promise to be always close to Sara and his child, and to have Sara promise him to look out for Linc since "he has a tendency to get into touble" heh, thats very true, indeed he does.

The end!

I know this is long and all, but i think it was all noteworthy.
I really loved this, i really did. It gave Sarah really something solid to work with, plus it made the Finale make some sense. And it made me okay with what happened, because i know understand why it had to happen. He made the greatest sacrifice ever. And no regrets.
This has got to be one of the best two episodes i have ever seen, up there with S1.
This probably should have been the finale. But i am glad they made these episodes, as it gave closure.
So, i finally, thank you. Prison Break for everything you have given me.
Sarah, this board, these posters, Wentworth, to see the perfection that is Sarah/Went and finally.. a great 4 years. I don't regret a single moment, because i think everything has had its purpose (I may even say S3, incl

I did like the final break too, but the end was very hard to watch. It didn't have to end this way! I still think it was stupid he killed himself, but I'm a Misa-fan, so do not blame me for it!

In a way Mahone did kill Michael, he told the Fbi about the blind spot. Otherwise Michael could have saved Sara the way he was supposed to!

But overall SWC played her role very, very good! She was awesome. They should have made series 5 about the breakout of Sara. I'm sure as hell I would watch it!!

So now we'll have to wait for another project of Sarah!!!

Jen, great recap/review.

I loved the performances but I'm still on record as hating the ending. I just don't get the whole he had to die because of all the blood on his hands and the weight of guilt. The returning tumors was just a way for them to justify it in the writers minds.

I really hate that Mahone played a part in foiling the first plan as well.

Oh well, I have the happy ending in my head.

The other night I had a dream about a different ending of the Final Break, it was like a really nice ending the 'Michael Scofield way':

What if he pulls out the cables and connects one to the doorknob from where Agent Wheatley was about to enter and the other part to some kind of plate on the other site of that door. So what would really happen then is when the FBI-agent wanted to open the door he would make contact with the floor and the doorknob so that he was the one that would be electrocuted

and got the door unlocked for Michael and Sara. Now that I would have believed!

And that stuff about the tumor being back?

That wouldn't happen in my dream because it's a happy ending for MiSa!!!

That is a nice dream. If it wasn't for the stupid tumors I know Michael would have found another way to get her out.

Do we know if there are any extras on this movie dvd?

Just watched the Final Break and I must say; I loved it, but also hated it.
Love the storyline, the acting, the fact that's PrisonBreak and the whole wedding-thing (OMG Love Sarahs make-up there!). Hate it, because my sis had to say "OMG Lisanne, she's flat!" and that I had to defence that ("look at yourself" "oh jeah.. true xD") and because the man named Michael had to sacrify himself to rescue the women he loves and their baby. And because I found the end a bit weird. Espected to see a funeral or something, but though, the last words were also great and huge and adorable and só true, that I think I just have to get used to this end. (Even though I would love to see Sara and Michael JR and LJ and Sophia and Lincoln living in panama or whatever they were going. I would love to know how they live, if they have the diveshop Michael always wanted etc.!)
But, overall, I think this is the best end they could give Prison Break.

i havent seen how it ends yet..the ep when we first find out sara is pregnant has just aired and thats all ive seen up to. i cant believe michael dies tho

its just so sad and was it REALLY necessary to do that to us?!

i feel a little better reading you guys' reviews. hopefully i wont be so angry when i watch it coz it will be so good that ill be able to overlook the depression of it all (like titanic!

I don't think it was necessary at all. For me, it really took away the whole hope and faith theme they teased us with.

so i finally watched the final break.

the beginning must be the best part. wedding at the beach. just family and Sucre. I love you Papi but what's with the beard?

Sucre/Sara dancing, awww. Why can't Michael/Sara dance? shouldn't weddings even small one have husband/wife first dance? so the beginning was perfect till the cops ruin everything.

I seriously don't know which prison is Tbag really in. Fox River or the prison that has no name. it's nameless.

And wtf. the general. he should die. die. die. die. die. die. he had no right to poison Sarah. He had no rights. i should stab him to death.

Gretchen... wow. i actually like her in this episode but seriously what's with the hair?

she fought for Sara with i thought it was awesome. i love it when girls fight. is that wrong? does that make me sound like a guy?

outside of church. omg. i felt so bad for her. talking about her daughter.

The prison that Sara & Gretchen were in. omg. that looks so horrible. i forgot her name but the leader of those 4 girls, she looked gay and a dude. omg. what i notice in prison is the prison guards, all of them are girls. omfg. are they all gay? Prison is not a safe place for Sara and her baby. heck no.

Can i say i love Papi? the part where Michael decided to break her out is where Michael said to papi that "if it gets him into anymore trouble he could go back home" but no he stayed. I love Sucri. end of story. I should shave Papi's beard.

Mahone! omg. i love this dude now. even though he wants his job back, he couldn't betray Michael and the others because everything they've been through they're close friends.

I cried.

i cried when Michael got electrocuted. Sara wouldn't leave him but she knows she has to.

he died. Nooooo.

She loves him. WHY?

Why does he have a brain tumor? why? why? why? HOLD ME!

the saddest part of all, Michael wasn't alive to see his baby boy growing up. He wasn't alive to take his son fishing or whatever father/son do. that completely sucks and we know it.

i was crying on the rest of the ep.

it's so sad.

PB was an amazing show. The Final Break is the best episode ever even though it is sad.
