We only have one heater and it's in the lounge room so if I went out there, I wouldn't have the computer since the computer cable is in the computer room

Yes, when I'm at home but here that isn't an option either

It's all cabled toegther in the computer room so all the cables are tacked along the skirting boards and stuff behind the desks.
