| Moderator Support Team   | OFFTOPIC OPENING! (( EVERYONE - Please read and reply!)) After some discussion, i have decided to make it fair to everyone that to have each and everyone's opinion on this. I know alot of people do like and don't mind the Offtopic opening, and then there are some who don't like it and dont feel they should have to include it. So after some though, i have decided to make this thread. After everyone states their opinion, i will then come to a decision. And then.. even if majority rules over, and since i don't want to be mean we then we come to a compromise so that everyone will be happy. And even though i wont, force anyone to do something they dont want to. I understand other's point of view on why they do want it included. So and since i am unable to make a poll, i guess that option is not avaliable anymore i have decided to make it a normal thread. So, question: Do you, want a opening in the OT thread. OR do you not? Please state your reasons for your choice. Thank you! Like i said, i want to be fair to everyone and don't want anyone to be mad saying that i am choosing sides. I am being inpartial and my decision will be based on the posters. | |||

| SW Kers  If you check the OT thread, you can see taht it has an opening banner and stuff. This thread is to teh purpose to see id the posters of OT want the opening to remain, be changed/altered or taken away. | |||

| well these are just examples.. not saying we have to do this exact thing.. and i was thinking about that... But what i like about what we have now, is that it evolved, and a lot of posters that regularily post on OT decided on it, and to add it to the opening and added to it, so its more of something that came out of a lot of posters, its more meaningful, then jsut a plain banner... having something of our own, gives us more of a family feel... although we could ADD a plain banner that said Off Topi __________________ | |||

| To be fair and honest Jen, from what I've seen, you were the only person that didn't like the OT art. Everyone else seemed to like it and be fine with it. Quote:

| Yeah, we need the conflicts to be over with. Just be respectful, and state his/her opinion. Everyone needs to do it, coz if they don't talk we'll never know. My opinion: I really like the opening as it is. Like totally love it. I know it may sound wierd, but I feel it's just part of the OT now, and I would be really sad to see it go. So I'm TOTALLY pro. | Yeah as I said, it has become a part of the OT, and a lot of Newbies that see it, automatically say, "AWWW, Thats soo ME" which is how must of our reactions started out like that when we saw it!!..... Plus, whats the harm in it, i mean, it Brings Character, and a sense of Community to the baord, and uniqueness, rather then the same old boring things.... __________________ | |||

| Everyone seems to enjoy it, and like Karen mentioned: "a lot of Newbies that see it, automatically say, "AWWW, Thats soo ME" " A lot of people feel more welcome when they have something like that that they can relate to you know. But please note, if someone really does not like it, don't be afraid to say so! Your opinion does matter! | |||
