[Stay to the Lights]

Hey everyone,

I have been thinking about this for some time, but had done so in depth the last few days.
I've come to the thought that maybe we should close this board for a number of reasons.

We don't have many posters on this board and i have noticed for some time, the post count has been going down and down.
It isn't just that there isn't much to talk about. It's also the fact that Sarah is a private person so she'll never be in the limelight unless she goes on a high profile show or movie.

I have been feeling like i have been the only person keeping this board alive and i really can't do it by myself.
And it would be selfish for me to keep it open just for myself.

I have been a moderator for this board for over 3 years so this is so hard and heartbreaking for me to even consider, but i felt i should stop doing what i want and start thinking of what is best for the board itself.
I have enjoyed every moment i have spent on this board and its some of the best conversations here on .
I have made many friends here on this board, and its not something i will ever forget.
But everything has always got to come to an end, right?

So i am going to pose this question.

Do you think its better to let it go, and close it.... or keep it open? I would appreciate any thoughts and/or opinions on this matter.

Awww Jen. I'm sure it's not an easy decision for you. You've put a lot of time and effort into this board. We all appreciate that.

I love this board and would love for it to stay open. Especially since SWC has some projects coming up that could bring back old fans and maybe even some new ones.

But lately it's felt like I was just posting to help keep it open. That's not to say I haven't enjoyed my time here or appreciate the friends I've made because I have. I feel lucky to have been a part of the conversations here.

Like you said sometimes you have to make decisions that's best for the board and not because it's something we want. I wish you the best and support whatever decision you make.

i would definitely love for this board to stay around especially with the new projects that sarah has coming up. i know i haven't been around in quite a while but i'd hate to see this board go and ive loved getting to know everyone that posts on here!

Aww Jenny I know how much you love Sarah and I know how much you love this board. But for the time being, I think closing the board might be the best. Like you said, its been a year since Prison Break and she's a private person. So should would need to be in a big production for us to get stuff, but what about that Fall show you mentioned too me?

Yeah, i know.
The show she is gonna be involved in with be on AMC(A cable network) and currently only has 6 ep pickup, might be increased depending on how well the show does and it won't premiere til October.
And that's a long time from now.

Maybe it is for the best to go ahead and close it, even when she is working... she always tends to choose stuff that are low budget or indie movies.
So i'm not sure even her new tv series would make this place active.

Unfortunately might be the best thing especially with how her show is on an A-cable network. Might be hard to get at and premiere is in October with only 6 episodes

Yeah, although its not so easy in getting boards back. especially when there is so much competition. So i wouldn't hold my breath for that

It's definitely a heart felt decision to decide that it might be time to consider letting a board go. Jen.

When Shari resigned in February, there were no applicants for the open Mod position. Sometimes that's just a temporary lull in that particular fandom, so we close the opening and review in a couple of months.

Has the board's recent 48 hour warning generated much interest in encouraging people to visit regularly?

Chris, no not really. Unfortunately
We've never really had many regular posters here, and lately its just been worse than it was.
The fact that Sarah isn't currently doing something high profile and she is a B list actress doesn't help either.
