I was just wondering the other day - whatever happened to Ryan's thread... so thanks for starting it up again SouthernSunset.
Fav character - well that is a hard one. I think it has to be a toss up between Sebastian and Shane O'Shea. I love all of Ryans movies/characters. I am so happy for him and Reese that they are expecting another child. |

My fave Ryan characters would have to be Keenan and Petrov. Petrov was funny.
The problem with Ryan is that He's soooooo pretty, it's hard to see his talent. Cause Brad Pitt is incredibly hot too, but his kind of hot is the flexible kind. He can do whatever. The prob for Ryan is that no matter what kind of scruff he tries to disguise himself in... he's somewhat too cherubic to BE scruffy. It's the curly hair, and the round eyes... He needs to shave his head or something. Maybe scar his face. I don't know. The mohawk was... well. I don't know. it wasn't ugly, I kinda liked it. But it wasn't"badass". ANd the thing is, Ryan is incredibly talented. He just needs... something... I don't know. __________________

Yeah pretty boys get no respect. Ryan it an amazing actor. He's been in so many different roles and he played them all like they were nothing. He really deserves more than what he's getting.
I'm glad I started this up then. I debated about it. But I didn't see another one guess I was to late with that one. __________________

Okay this is probably going to go against everything I said in my last post.
But I am. That's one of my favorite scenes. I know this is OT but has anybody seen Dangerous Liasons or Valmont? __________________

Bloody Brilliant Film. Okay, you see, Cruel Intentions is the teenified version of it, as everyone knows. It's good, CI is definitely VERY good, for a teenified version of a classic and serious novel. Dangerous Liaisons is BRILLIANT. Of course, this is MY opinion. A lot of other people might beg to differ. __________________

Oh, I think Ryan Phillippe is a great actor as well, and yes, I've seen both Dangerous Liasons and Valmont. I've also seen Cruel Intentions and I totally dig the pool scene, LOL!
I agree that DL is a briiliant film, I saw it again recently and loved it. I don't understand why some people don't like the movie every much, I understand that the acting in some parts is a little off, but the rest of the movie is just brilliant. __________________

I was able to see both movies recently. DL was a great movies. Valmont on th eother hand. I just didn't feel some of the characters. I love Colin Firth and I didn't but him as Valmont. Though it was nice to see him smile. I guess I prefer him as broody guy.
Ryan and John M. Played the character much better. Oh I love the picture by the way. I had to add it to my desktop. __________________
