This fall Goldie Hawn's son (Kate Hudson's brother) and the former star of My Guide to Becoming a Rock Star joins the cast of Dawson's Creek as Eddie Doling, a blue-collar yet very smart and literate type of guy who works with Joey at the bar/restaurant Hell's Kitchen.

He was so adorable. Still though, two hours and he didn't get much screen time. But I guess they're just starting to set his story up.

I'll give you the details.

People who haven't seen the premiere yet beware of spoilers:

First about Oliver's character Eddie. He was in the second hour but just barely. When Joey went back to Hell's Kitchen to apply for a job there she ran into Eddie (well, he bumped into her). She asked him to apologize over bumping into her but he thought she wanted him to apologize over showing her up in class. He didn't say sorry for what happened in class but he did say sorry for bumping into her. She asked Emma (the British girl) if Eddie eats at Hell's Kitchen a lot, Emma said no, but he does work there. He's the bartender.

As for the rest of the show. Pacey got a job as a telemarketer at an office for stock brokers (basically like the movie Boiler Room). So with a new job and the help of Jack and Audrey he tries to get Emma to let him and Jack move into her apartment. Emma has already agreed to let the lesbian couple move in but Jack scares them off by telling them lies about the building, he tells them the building has a rodent problem. Emma finally agrees to let the guys move in.

Jen meets a young man while talking to Grams on campus. He asks her to be a peer counseler where he works. When she gets there she can't believe how goody-goody the whole place is and she feels like it's not her cup of tea. Alhtough it's not the last we'll see of that young man.

Dawson asks Joey to meet him on the set of his movie. A horror movie about teens looking for the Boston Strangler during the 1970s. He shows her the set of the movie which is a replica of Dawson's childhood home, the director wanted a house that looked like a typical American home so Dawson helped him with the design. When they get back to her dorm room, where the gang is ready to give Joey a surprise birthday party, Joey wonders why Dawson won't answer his cell phone. She playfully takes the phone away from Dawson thinking he's getting calls from the director but when she looks at the caller ID she finds out that it's some girl who has been calling him. Dawson reveals that the girl was his girlfriend who he broke up with...after he slept with Joey. Joey's upset to find out that he had barely broken up with his girlfriend the morning after they slept together. They argue, he leaves because he has a plane to catch and she cries.

Nonono, I don't blame her there, but I liked the professor guy also! Then again, wasn't she kinda involved with one last year? I only watched a few episodes though.

Yup, that didn't last long though. I wish it lasted more than it did but I think the writers listend a little too much to fans who write angry emails. [img]smilies/frown.gif[/img]
