Black Donnellys Kinda Sorta Saved I've just learned that HDNet, the hi-def network owned by Internet billionaire (and former reality star) Cuban, has secured the rights to the first season of The Black Donnellys, the NBC mob drama that so many of us fell madly in love with—before it was yanked permanently from the Peacock's schedule in April. Starting June 13 at 8 p.m.—mark your calendars!—HDNet will air all 13 episodes of the Donnellys, including 7 episodes that never aired on NBC (though they did run on nbc.com). It's not an NBC pickup for a new season, but still, this is good news, no? And yet another testament to what the fans can do when they put their minds and their fanpaigns to it! As of today, more than 35,000 fans have signed the petition to Save The Black Donnellys here. And if you all watch and get everyone you know to watch, well, heck, we just might have a Family Guy-ish miracle on our hands, right? Stranger things have happened.
