She must be one of the people In Hollywood that works the most.When we did this interview, she spent at least 12 hours a day in the set of HSM, and had already begun to promote her second album, Identified. All of this after the shooting of Rock on, which is gonna release in 2009. "It’s been a long time since I was at home" She said. Despite the crazy life, the actress didn’t show any sign of tiredness while we met, and her hair was shinning as Gabriella's. Talking about the character who launched her to stardom makes her moved. "It’s gonna be hard to say goodbye". She’s saying goodbye to HSM in search for new challenges. It’s logical that she takes from Disney phenomenon, the huge harassment of fans that follow her, even to the bathroom, and an amazing boyfriend. Next to Zac Efron for 3 (LMFAOOO) years, the actress is very discreet about their relationship. Still, the two decided to secretly date and were seen hand in hand behind the scenes of the third film. Would Gabriella wear this? I dress up according to my mood. I went shopping today and I ended up buying every piece I'm using now. Everything Gabriella wears is very romantic, and sometimes I like it . Some of the clothes you see in the movie I have it in my wardrobe. But I like urban or indigenous folk style, with feathers and moccasins too. What’s your favorite piece at this moment? My gladiator sandals! [Shows the feet] What did you like the most till now about the shooting? My favorite scene is the waltz between troy and Gabriella. They dance on the roof and it's the one of the most romantic things I have ever seen. The song, which is called 'May I have this dance?', is so cute! It’s a beautiful scene and I loved doing it. Since the first HSM, what was the most amazing thing that happened to you? Everything. I traveled to so many places. It was unforgettable, because we discovered the world together. Having an opportunity like this at my age is much more than I could imagine. I’ve always wanted to travel around the world. What place would you still like to know? I want to go to Italy, Egypt, to Amazon, Africa…Hmm I could stay hours here talking about that. Will you take a break after HSM? Not yet. I will be in some TV shows to promote my new album. Its been a long time that I don’t go back to home. Before coming to Salt Lake City, I was in Austin, shooting another movie. When I come back, I think I might start looking for some houses, I’m excited! Wow, you are going to buy your first house? Yes! And I got my driver's license 4 months ago. It took a long time! [Laughs] I’m becoming an adult! And doing things by myself, taking decisions. It’s really difficult for me. It looks like I won’t be able to do it. When you started shooting your new movie Rock On, were you looking for new experiences? I love what HSM did for me. I’m very grateful for it. Gabriella is an amazing girl who I love. But I want to try other things, that’s why I did this movie. My character is a lonely girl, a little bit weird, doesn’t have friends. It was very different for me. Now I want to find another character, as different as this one. So you don’t want to be the good girl anymore? I don’t want to get stereotyped. If I find a character with an amazing script, I’ll do the good girl. It’s just that I want to do movies that inspire me to be different. What bothers you about fame? Just the privacy. I’m just really reserved, so, I don’t love always having people around me. Well, that’s something that comes along with it. Sometimes the harassment it’s really intense, but without it we really wouldn’t be where we are now, right? Learning to deal with the situation has been the hardest part for me. The boys harass you? Frequently. Once, I was driving and another car got close to mine. My trunk was full of things, so I thought it was open or something like that. So I opened the window and the guys were asking: ‘So, what are you doing?’ I closed the window and looked the other side, praying for the traffic light to turn green. But there’s also the good harassment, isn’t it? Oh, yes, the younger boys are the ones who fall in love with me. It’s amazing being the first love of one little boy. But, from the older guys I prefer distance. What was the most bizarre thing a fan did? Oh, those who are in the bathroom! It’s really weird when someone gives me a paper under the door to sign. It’s uncomfortable. With all the gossips, is it difficult to be friends with Ashley? Ashley is my best friend. Even far away, we call each other at least once in a week. We pass at least an hour on the phone! When we can, we go out together: we go shopping, we do the nails. But of course that sometimes it’s a little complicated. You guys are followed by paparazzi? Yes, once it was insane! We went shopping and they were following us. So, we went to another store to run away from them and we found another group of photographers. God, Ashley was very mad. So then we went to McDonald’s. There’s also a video on Youtube of us trying to order. It was horrible! Life can be very chaotic in LA. That’s why we prefer staying home. Would you like to sing with her in HSM? God, so much! We even talked about it with Kenny Ortega. We had to had a scene together, in the name of our friendship. We showed up with the craziest ideas for Kenny, but unfortunately, it didn’t happen. But some newspapers says that you guys fight That’s so annoying! People keep comparing us. They just need to know that we are best friends. We really are! They gotta stop doing that. What fans still don’t know about you? I am well connected to nature recently. I can spend the whole day watching Discovery. I think people see me more as a girly girl, but I love camping, riding a bicycle, and doing outdoor activities. What would you say to girls who are shy with boys? Be yourself. I’m very silly. And it’s very possible to you see me dancing around, making fool of myself. This is me! I’m not afraid to be like that. If guys like that, great. If they don’t, simply they are not the type of people I would like to go out. Do you see yourself as a role model? One of my goals as an actress is to do things that enhance the woman. That’s why I like Gabriella so much – she is strong! And, even when having problems, she’s always trying to overcome them. You see Hollywood, and see everything wrong, I think. I do what I would like to other girls to do. I try to do my best. How are you going to say goodbye to HSM? I don’t want to think about it. It’s going to be difficult to say goodbye. We grew up together. It’s so, so, so sad. My God, seriously, I don’t even want to talk about it. We are a family. You know, I had to do a scene which Gabriella was all sad, and there were these pictures of everybody on set. I looked at them, thinking to myself: this is the last time we’re doing this together, and I have to enjoy every second. It’s really sad. RELAXED BABY V! Well dressed, yes, but comfortable too. 1st picture: a chick hippie with a tiara and gladiator sandals. 2nd picture: With a romantic dress. 3rd picture: with cute shoes and a maxibag her trademark.

Would you like to sing with her in HSM? God, so much! We even talked about it with Kenny Ortega. We had to had a scene together, in the name of our friendship. We showed up with the craziest ideas for Kenny, but unfortunately, it didn’t happen.

Mitch @ 08/02/2008 at 8:35 am I took my kids to the St. Louis show and thought it was really well done. It was only an hour long (which disappointed me - I’m used to 2 hour concerts but then again I’m an old guy LOL). We ended up with seats on the right side of the stage in the front row… my kids were thrilled. I expected lip syncing and i was impressed that Vanessa was actually singing (I’m an old **** and i guess i set my expectations too low). I enjoyed the show and got some great photos from the front row… it was better than i expected and had a good time. Vanessa seemed to really enjoy giving the performance and several times commented about how amazing the crowd was. She seems genuinely excited to be performing and i like to see that. I hope Vanessa can keep her head on straight with all that comes with this pressure. Her family was at the show - and there were probably 10 of them - mom and dad and lots of others - they were rockin to the show the whole way thru and seemed to have a really fun time. Those of you who are fans and can attend a Vanessa show will have a really good time - try to catch one if you can. P.S. - ignore the haters. They aren’t worth your time. Choose to have a positive attitude and you will go far in life. Those who choose the other route will be left behind.

Estoy muy emocionada porque realmente todos ... y especialmente V&Z vayan a los TCA's! Yo, personalmente, no podia concebir un año de esos premios SIN ellos... que suerte y que chevere que pase... quiero que sea mañana YA!... y verlos el lunes. mami gracias por traer ese comentario del señor... que lindo que se quedo impresionado... y por cierto, cuando postee esos vids del concierto (que trajo Lizzie! gracias por traerlos aca twin ) bueno dije q no me gustaba mucho como ha cambiado la grandeza de sus shows porque para mi paso de lo inmenso q fue HSM y lo de la Cheetas para estos shows en ferias que son mucho mas pequeños... bueno lamentablemente no depende de ella sino de HR ... pero bueno por lo menos esta haciendo un tour... ok eso pense cuando vi esos videos que es del primer concierto en SixFlags... pero este de alabama se ve mucho mejor y como se merece V... algo mejor hecho

Pero no podes comparar, bombon!!....HSM es todo un grupo de gente que es un boom sensacional....las Cheeta girls lo mismo en el sentido que no es una sola persona.....aca estamos hablando de Vanessa Hudgens solita...y no es lo mismo...no se puede comparar su concierto con el gigante que es HSM
