| NGL, I was kind of rooting for Chloe to take Emma's spot. ABC family isn't exactly Disney but it still has a tween/teen stigma attached to it.  I would have liked to have someone not connected to a tween/teen network honestly. Not really excited of Ashley's casting but I don't hate it either. I'm sure all the girls will do a great job, I just think that it will make the movie that much harder to sell. Hearing the plot and knowing which girls were cast...people are going to automatically think of this movie as a joke before they even see it. Quote:

V has had a cover for every one of her movies. She even landed Lucky (different demo) for one of her movies so I don't know why she doesn't appear to have a US cover at all. I wonder if its possible that V is sharing a cover of a magazine with someone...multiple covers. The fact that Deadline even felt the need to report on this casting shows Hollywood is paying attention and doesn't think of this movie as a joke. Now once the movie comes out, I'm sure a lot of people will change their minds. But you are still going to have people that won't even give the film a chance at all just b/c of the cast alone. It's annoying when you see people state that this film is going to be Monte Carlo 2.0 not realizing that this movie was written and is being directed by the guy who wrote the NC-17 Kids. __________________ | |||

| Don't think a cover per se is a big deal, tho I should hope she did at least one spread. Even Josh and the Rock don't have covers and no one can say they're not popular. For a kid's movie, WB might not feel that the magazine buying crowd is the necessary demo and chose to spend their money on the international promo tour instead. | |||

| ^ tbh I agree I don't see her not getting a magazine cover as that big of a deal. I'd rather her have one for discussing her more grown up movies like TFG and GS instead. though Josh did get the cover of Nylon guys btw - Josh Covers Nylon Guys Magazine | Josh Hutcherson News - though that my just be an early start for Hunger Games promo that worked out for J2 promo as well __________________ always & forever | |||

| Fan Forum's Finest   | I wish she'd at least get one cover. Or an inside spread. I don't watch PLL and I've never seen Ashley in anything, but if casting chose her they must have a reason. Though as Erin has mentioned, I hope the general public (or the ignorant part of that public) won't just brush the film off as being another tween flick. However, I think the fact that James Franco is in it will hopefully make people think twice and give them more incentive to check it out, if four young girls aren't appealing enough to do so. __________________
