i like the end where that girl was liek "that was awesome", its good to see older fans who actually admits they like her unlike some other videos on youtbe where people were like its free and they need to sit down.

its great to seee Vanessa to actually perform live too! hopefully a concert DVD will come out. i would love to see her sing amazed with lil mama there.

Well, some official news came out today...

Hilary Duff is leaving Hollywood Records which I'm very happy for. She had tons of good songs on her last album and she wasn't properly promoted. Stranger wasn't even sent to radio even though she performed the song on a couple of shows and her previous single, "With Love" was a success on radio. Since HR likes to screw their older acts...I'm happy she's leaving...hopefully Vanessa leaves soon too.

Now since Hilary is leaving and is looking for a new record label...I'm guessing that they aren't going to give her tons of promo for her next album (another Best of album (Why don't they just do a B-sides album or something with a couple new songs instead? She's going to get a lot of wank.) and single. Now the reason that I'm talking about this is because this could be somewhat good news for Vanessa. It means one less person to compete with when it comes to promotion for her next single. I was kind of worried about Vanessa because Luis was talking about Hilary's upcoming single and add to that Miley's 2nd single (since 7 Things is dead on radio) and Demi's album...and well I'm just glad there is one less person for Vanessa to compete with.

thats great news for Hilary...the leaving part not the less promo. I hope Vanessa leaves soon, didn't someone say she talked to Jive records before she signed with HR? They might have some doubts but maybe they'll still want her. HR annoys be so much! I swear one day when V's performing at like the grammys they'll be kicking themselves for not giving a crap about her.

^He needs to leave soon too. He's only sold 85,291 after 10 weeks (his 11th week and Vanessa's 5th week haven't been posted yet) which is pathetic considering that Leavin hit #1 on radio/mediabase...that means its the record labels fault. Meanwhile...other acts that have hit radio songs are still pushing over 10K a week and some close to 25K. You would think that they would advertise on itunes more or send out his album commerical and mention that it contains the hit Leavin. Kate Perry's doing well...but Amazon has her album available for download for $1.99 (which counts towards album sales) which I'm sure is helping her sales numbers.

Yea, I'm kinda worried about how HR will prmote V's 2nd single.
Hilary's Best Of album is coming out Sept 23rd while the single "Reach Out", is being sent out late this month.
Plus Miley is gonna release a 2nd single too and Demi just released her 1st single and her album is also coming out in late September.

I'm happy for Hilary though. Vanessa needs to be the next one to bounce ...
