Thanks for opening Carol.

I had the trash bag and my sunglasses in my hand. When I got in the car and tried to put my sunglasses on they were gone. I had to buy new ones at work today but with my discount it only ended up being $4.50.

There a "big trash" in the hall of every floor..to threw every apartment trash in it. It goes to a place where someone throws it out later ... do you know?

Yeah, I realized right away that I threw them in there with the trash but I didn't feel like climbing in since I knew I could get them for cheap at work. Plus I hijacked them from my cousin about a year ago so it wasn't like I paid for them in the first place

Carol, here we just take our trash out to the dumpster and then they come to get it like a few times a week. Each building has their own dumpster though, so it's kinda the same. But when I live in Austin in a dorm each floor had a trash room...is that what you are talking about?

I couldn't explain it perfectly...but you could understand me.

Well...my dearest mother threw my FAVORITE pair of jeans in it..think it was trash.
Just because it was in a trash bag...but it was in the living room.

I lost it...
I was so depressed...it was my FAVORITE!!

At college we have to take them out back to the dumpster.
I'm on the 4th floor as well.
Freshman year we had a 'rubbish' chute though. I used to get a kick out of it saying rubbish.

Well the dorm I lived in was huuuuge so it would be a long walk to take the trash out. I lived in the 11th floor. It really sucked when we had fire drills cause they shut down the elevator. And of course they would do them at like 2 AM

11 floors?
We have Beaty towers which are like 12 stories each I think but they are nasty.
All the other dorms are 5 floors max.

I've been lucky. We rarely had a fire alarm. Just the tester ones.... oh and twice this past semester for reasons they were unsure about. But they weren't too bad, 10.30pm and 11am.

TV remote to work? That is priceless.

I'm so glad I'm out of the dorms But the good thing (and bad) about being in the biggest is that the first floor was restruants and the second floor were classrooms. My first class of the day was actually in my dorm.

I'm still in the dorms. 3rd year now. But I have a single room this year and I share an en suite bathroom with one of my friends.

I was only in the dorm one year. My roommate and I had nothing in common so we'd sit in this tiny room and not say a word. The only time we semi talked was when we went down to eat dinner together. Now I have an apartment and its muuuch better.

I have 2 finals tomorrow...I just cant bring myself to study for them.
