okay okay, so my job here at the hospital is senior admin/residency coordinator and I take care of 3 huge departments of residents, which is also known as babysitting. and we started this thing last year about have sports leagues where it's dept vs. dept for a glorified trophy (isn't that impressive) and this year it's soccer and we're down to 5 teams for the semi finals. Last week, I was there in a meetin, trying to get their attention so we could you know, leave for the day sometime when the sun was still shining. And yes, my Orthopods, Surgical and ED residents were all there and causing a ruckus with their huge inflated egos. and the whistle we have, yes have one for these purposes alone, was of no use. All in all, I put in a rec for a clown whistle so when this happens again, we can get their attention without having to put them in separate rooms and my doc boss looked at me yesterday and said that we might be able to actually get away with it.
