Random Snow Patrol Moments #1: We want to hear about them!
Did you walk into a store and discover a Snow Patrol song playing?

Fantastic thread idea Szilvia.
 My last random moment was the other week when I walked in to Woolworths (a British department store) and Open Your Eyes was playing on the sound system. I stayed in the shop longer than what I actually needed to in order to hear the full song. |

Yeah, I figured it would be worth starting it, since I was often finding out about moments like these, while reading everyone's posts.
 That's a great reason to stay extra long in Woolworth's! My last random SP moment was about 2 weeks ago...too long, I know...I turned on the radio while preparing supper, and there was "Chasing Cars" for my listening pleasure.  __________________

I turned on the radio earlier on today, I think around lunhtime, and within about two minutes Run came on.
I turned it up really loud and sang along with every word! |

Great idea
A few weeks ago Snow Patrol played a show in Montreal, which is 2 hours away from where I live in Ottawa. The concert was on a Friday night, but unfortunately I couldn't be there... anyway on the following Monday I was listening to my local sports radio station and one of the hosts was saying that he took his 10 year old daughter to the show. The other host said that he had never heard of Snow Patrol, so therefore they couldn't be that good. So the other host starts going on about how amazing the concert was, and I'm convinced that he had more fun than his daughter did!  __________________

I really enjoyed the segment... he was talking about how amazing Spitting Games was as an opening song, and I was thinking to myself, wow, this guy was really paying attention!

It's cool how they play SP songs at sports events, too.
 Okay, so I was watching TV yesterday evening, and a trailer for Spider-Man 3 came on during a commercial break...a portion of "Signal Fire" was being played as the music during the trailer!   How awesome was that? __________________

Oh, that's cool Szilvia! I've seen SM3 trailers here but none of them have had Signal Fire playing, which is a shame.

Yeah, I suddenly stopped everything and stared at the TV during that trailer.
I can't wait to see it again. Actually, I wasn't expecting to hear "Signal Fire" during the trailers, since it's supposed to be on during the movie credits...but I'm so glad they're giving the song more exposure this way! __________________

Most definitely does.
The best thing is, I had recorded the TV show I was watching, so that means the commercials are all recorded, as well, sooo...that means I can watch that trailer over and over! __________________
