I'm really excited about Sam doing SV S8. (Well, you can figure that out by the boards under my name

). I think he'll be excellent in the role, and I hope they give him good material to work with, plus he won't be far from where BSG used to be filmed (both shows filmed in Vancouver, Canada).

Suffice it to say, the doomsday that I know (The one that killed superman) was huge and covered in bone spurs, so unfortunately, you wouldn't be able to recognize him. My bet is, they're going for the Amanda Waller created version (A soldier transformed into a doomsday like beast), which was a hedge if superman ever gets out of control, then the government could take him down.

Either way, he'll be directly opposite clark for some big battles, so it's a good move for him.

Nikki, you'll have to go back to season 1 and 2, he played Boomer's sidekick while Helo was on Caprica. His name was Crashdown.

Yeah the Doomsday I recall from the comics was just like you said, not a pretty person at all.

I'm constantly surprised when SV brings in iconic figures that in the comic-verse Clark doesn't meet until some time later in his life.

Thanks for the Kandyse pics. She's stunning as always and has those incredible eyes and smile. Where did you meet her (assuming these are your own pics you took) and did you learn anything about her character and the show in S4?

As far as Sam's SV guest role...it'll be good for him and his career and I'm glad he's getting some steady work. Hopefully he'll latch onto another series opportunity after SV.

Yes they are my photos. I met her in Sydney on the weekend. Unfortunately i didn't get to go to her Q & A panel as most of saturday i was stuck in the autograph line and sunday her panel was on early and we didn't get there till midday. And there was also that i haven't seen any of s4 yet and BSG is the one show that i do not want to get spoilt for. I did get her autograph

Nikki - the whole "met them later in life deal" is one of the reasons I can't bring myself to watch SV, despite how many attempts Alex makes to lure me over.

Entertainment Weekly listed out the top 100 shows all time, BSG made 59...not bad, kinda ticked it wasn't higher...here's the whole list.

Thanks for sharing that story. I wasn't even aware she was on any kind of promotional tour, esp. one in Australia. Really good for the fans down under. It's also a tough autograph to get, so you should be happy with that autographed pic

Jerry...thanks for the list man. I have no idea what you're talking about, never tried to persuade you to watch SV. That's up to you.

BSG gets disrespected as usual, at least is on the list...but should be in the top 10!
