Not me, I thought it was going to be Kara...but I've switched to Dee the last week. Just a huntch

Well, take what the 3 said. The four are within the fleet. She did not say that the fifth was. In fact it was a point that the fifth was not. So that puts Baltar, Adama, Roslin, and Helo in the front line. So it is not Dee!

Also, 3 took Baltar's advice, he was allowed to make it. Doesn't that say something?

what if the last cylon is on Earth? Like he/she is the one that sent the message to kara's viper?

Well, I doubt that because it would mean that the final cylon would be a copy of someone that we know. Giving the feeling that the final 5 are not that special after all if they are only copies of their model.

The final cylon will not be a brand new cast member. There is no payoff.

Mike, that means nothing. D'Anna also said Roslin was one of the final five, followed that by "I'm kidding". She could be bluffing for all you know.

Dee is still in play big time.

I will be mad if it's Dee b/c she's always been useless to me.

and giving her a storyline makes me think the writers figured someone has to be the last cylon and it has to be someone important so they are forcing Dee to become important

Vic, That's a bit harsh. You could argue that Dee was a lot more prominant than Tory, who became one of the final five. So I don't see how Dee being the final cylon would be a letdown.

and I don't like Tory much either so her being a cylon....well ack.

Well, I'm not arguing the point of you liking her or not

That's strictly up to you as a fan of the show.

But the point of her being a "background" character and not important enough to be the last cylon...that is what I'm trying to get at. After they made Tory one of the final five...anything is possible and not surprising.

I think that's what partly annoys me about Tory is that they just "thought up" a story for her so she could be a cylon. I feel like they'd try very hard to "think up" some kind of story with Dee to make her a cylon since she never had much to do before

I was never a fan of the triangle/quadangle storyline. It even turned me off of Starbuck who I'm a huge fan of. She's better when relationship drama isn't bogging her down.

So since the final cylon wasn't revealed, and it probably won't be revealed until sometime in the second half of S4...do you all want to hold off on the last cylon speculation/prediction?

I am now having some second thoughts about Zarek.
I am not knocking off my list all together but he didn't have a role at all in the finale.
Is that to take us off his track or does it mean something?

I think they're building it up so much that the revelation of the final cylon will have to be just the biggest thing ever. I'm going with bigger names on the canvas because right now having someone like Dee be the fifth would be a letdown.

I still place bets on Adama because of what Leoban said that once and it's such a throwaway line that alot of people have forgotten it and wouldn't suspect him, plus it ties into "Caprica" and we need some connection to the original series and they could just have another actor play young Adama and see how he became the fifth or whatever.
