Well my sister "obtained" the dvds but when they'll be watched.... I don't know. (This is why I rarely ever buy dvds anymore. When I do it means the show/movie is really special.)
We are in the process of watch BSG season 3 right now.
And we also never finished Long Way Down that she was able to get since it's only aired in the UK so far.

(There is also my Alias season 2 that I never finished, Roswell season 1 and 2 and my Will & Grace season 3 that I never watched. And forget movies... If it wasn't a movie that stared Hayden or Ewan I've either saw it once and put it on the shelf or never saw my copy of it. They become dust collectors.)

The only exceptions to these habits are Friends and SW original trilogy. Those are the only collections I got my moneys worth out of.

Steph - That's the fun thing about volleyball...you can suck at it, and still have a good time. It's a fun sport to play. That, and you can take out any anger you have by hitting the ball at people across the net. I didn't know you watched Lost...or maybe I did, I can't really remember. I hear a lot of good things about The Office though, and I've been wanting to check it out.

Top three crying movies: 1. Armageddon 2. The Notebook 3. Pursuit of Happyness...I'm not going to give any more, Alex might use it against me.

Alex - I'm exciting about finishing Smallville now. Btw, you never told me OneRepublic was on it. Someone told me about it on their thread on the Music board, so I went over and checked it out. Little did I know there was a little spoiler on it, and I saw Pete!

I could have fun at volleyball if it was so darn painful to my hands. I am a weakling.

Yep, I watch Lost.
The Office is funny. Crazy - but funny

I couldn't even name a top 3 crying movies.
I cry at too many!

I am a weakling and a sap.

Steph, well I finished BSG S3 DVD's over the weekend. I had a marathon. See, you and Vic need to do that You get it over with I watched all the eps with the Ron Moore podcast.

BTW, you really need to finish Alias...come on. It's one of the best shows on TV the past 10 years. Skip S4, but watch Seasons 1-3 and 5(it's the last one, you must watch )

As far as volleyball, I don't mean to pick on you, but being as tall as you are, it wouldn't be the most practical sport for you. I'm curious, did you ever do gymnastics?

K...please Armaggedon? as top 3 crying movie? It has Ben Affleck, which means it doesn't count How can you not have Green Mile, or Life as a House, or Million Dollar Baby in there? Just wait...Backdraft and Man on Fire, I guarantee tears!

Nah, actually...if you visit May 21-25, we'll have to watch Indiana Jones, to "warm up" for the Movie Premiere that friday! Darn music won't leave my head now, and hey I want a fedora from your weekend trip, if you go

Ashley if you're lurking. Have you had a chance to check out any new music lately? I'm not sure what kind you like, but the new 3Doors Down and Anna Nalick stuff is pretty good. Check it out if you have itunes.

I can't have a marathon. It's just too much to cram in and it means procrastinating things that were already put off for the weekend. Even a 3 day vacation is not a vacation....*sad sigh*

I know. I loved Alias. And I do mean to finish S2 one day.
I only bought seasons 1 and 2. After having 2 sit on my shelf unwatched for years I figured if they never get watched it's just money down the drain and another dust collector. So I never bought the rest.

Gymnastics - no, never. Not very limber. Only sport I ever did outside of required Board of Ed P.E, was figure skating. And even that I sucked at. I could never bend my knees right to do the tricks and could never get the speed for the jumps.
I was the artistic kid, not an athletic one.

I'm not really into them. They aren't bad, don't get me wrong, but just not for me. I did happen to get The Raconteurs new album though. I still need to listen to it.

Hey, you don't have to be tall to play volleyball. Shorter girls play too (at least in the back row) and do very well. It just...helps if you want to play at the net.

Steph - How many seasons of the Office are there? My sister's roommate has the first season, so I might borrow it. I've just got to finish up on Smallville.

How can you not cry when you watch Armageddon!? It's staying in the top 3 man.

Indiana Jones sounds exciting....I can't wait to look at the hats. Disneyland will be on Saturday, and you have to go to the Indiana Jones part of the park first, because later in the day it's extremely crowded and it'll take hours just to get to the front of the lines.

Never heard of them, Ashley.

The Office is in it's 4th season.

Even in the back away from the net I sucked.

Oh, dear...maybe some other time then. Maybe over the summer when a lot of the other shows are over and there's nothing else to watch. Hard to tell now with all of these Reality TV shows.

Aww..

Steph, nothing wrong with being artistic of course, I was just trying to match your height with an appropriate sport Gymnastics came to mind.

K...I'm willing to overlook that, and short volleyball "woman" in the back are at least 5'7!

Ashley...I've never heard of them. Are you more into "none mainstream" artists/bands? That would explain.

Don't forget, the BSG retrospective show is this Friday night on sci-fi channel and then one week away from S4!

Hey, I've played with girls on my team that were 5'3. And they were great. They were quicker and all over the place. Short people can play too. I think they're better for indoor volleyball than outside though. Because on the beach height is very important, unless you can jump really high.

I have to remember to set my DVR since I'll be gone Friday night, so I can watch it when I get back.

Hey everyone!

Alex, I wouldn't say I listen to more non-mainstream music, but probably just lesser known acts.

Ash...Don't forget your BSG avatar and your pilot call sign in your sig. We had some really good ideas a few months back, remember?

As far as music, I tend to roam around on itunes sometimes and find "lesser" known bands that are pretty good

Went shopping for pants today, got the right size, and they still won't fit! My quads/hams are too big! Darn dilemma for people who workout!!! Have to have everything tailored
