Was I the only one who was kind of caught off-guard by the somewhat darker turn that RDM and Co. started taking Laura's character? Even though she'd already shown that she'd do what she had to to keep the human race safe, it still surprised me when she asked Dr. Cottle to help her intentionally deceive Helo and Sharon and help hide their baby, and then later tried to steal the election to keep Baltar away from the Presidency. Still, at least she had viable reasons for every questionable decision she made through the first 2 seasons, unlike Baltar (since you can't really justify WHY he gave Gina that nuke and surrendered New Caprica to the Cylons).
