I agree, best season thus far if looking at a whole.

So I am about half way through Season 2 right now. I am about to start Pegasus actually. I love this season and I love how fantastically written and complicated everything is.

This show is truly awesome.

If you have the DVD's, make sure you watch the "extended" version of Pegasus, only available on the 2.5 DVD set It's worth the extra few scenes.

Sadly I am not watching the DVD versions although I think when the series ends I will spend whatever money on a boxed set.

Flight of the Phoenix I think is my favorite so far of Season 2, followed by Home part 2.

Szilvia...Page 5 as predicted Maybe we can get it going a bit. Several people are catching up during this time watching older seasons. Comments are welcomed

No problem. Hopefully Sarah will comment here on S2 soon as well (when she gets around to it). Or others who have already seen it.

If you are watching the DvDs there is a season 2.0 set and a season 2.5 set. Skip the last episode in the 2.0 set of Dvds - 'Pegasus'. There is an extended version of 'Pegasus' as the first episode on the 2.5 set. If you only plan to watch one version watch the extended version. If you watched the regular version at least watch the first scenes of the extended version. I think it is important to understanding Kara's relationship with Admiral Cain.

I'll do that with 'Pegasus' - thanks for the reminder, Kathy.

So, I've seen 'Scattered' - it was pretty good.

I'm still in suspense about Bill Adama's condition (but I'm guessing he makes it somehow ).

Loved the Caprica scene with Kara/Helo/Sharon, very intense.

It was sad to see the one guy (don't know his name) get shot like that on Kobol.

It was interesting to see the ship be led by someone other than Bill!
That reminds me, those flashbacks kind of confused me...Tigh and Adama knew each other way back, and they were shipmates...Adama got the higher ranking position instead of Tigh, and he was bitter about it...is that right? Maybe I'm missing something...

Oh, another confusing part...Baltar and Six, and their baby. I'm very curious to find out how that happened.

Anyway, I'm sure the answers will come, in time, but I just thought I'd put my thoughts out there.

Off to watch the next episode...

I'll second that I think we've got Szilvia on point with the episodes

Yeah, that's kind of a "give away". He's around now (Season 4)

'She's a cylon Helo...what do you want me to do! You can't have a baby with a machine'...intense stuff.

That's Sam Witwer! (He'll be on SV Season 8). He's also the actor in the big game SW Force Unleashed (main character) and he had a small part on Dexter S1.

He was my favorite background character in the early seasons. That dirty coward Baltar shot him in the back

They were both fighter pilots in the first cylon war. When the war ended, they worked together on a freighter. Bill Adama used his connections to get back in the fleet and ended up pulling strings to get Tigh back in as well. He kept his promise and made Tigh his X/O once he got his own Battlestar to command.

Stay tuned. That will play on in the second half of S2...or more will be made clear.

It's no problem. We are here to help and also not ruin the rest of the season for you by telling you exactly what you should expect

Actually, it was Tarn who I was referring to, not Crashdown.
(I caught Tarn's name in the next episode)
Crashdown was still alive in that episode (and the next).
I should have said, 'gunned down by Cylons in the forest on Kobol' to make it more clear.
It's okay, though, I know Crashdown doesn't last on the show, since Sam Witwer will be on SV.

Thank you very much, this is so helpful to understand their background.
BTW, does X/O stand for 'Commanding Officer,' or something else?

I forgot to mention, from 'Scattered,' about the Cylons boarding the Galactica, and how Sharon (should I be calling her 'Cylon Sharon' like Helo did? ) on Caprica took off with Kara's ship!!

Hey everyone

I just started watching BSG like, honestly 4 days ago
The whole stuff on Kobol got to me... Tarn being shot like that, Crashdown loosing it and dying and the other one whose lungs were burnt. Sad stuff. And yes, I did cry....

I am a big fan of Helo and Sharon I trust Sharon and those two, their love and their baby is kind of a ray of hope in that dark show.

I love all the story lines so far It's better than season 1, I dare say.

Hi, Lynn!
You say S2 is better than S1? Awesome, I can't wait to see it all.

So, my thoughts on 'Valley of Darkness'...

It was scary how those Cylons aboard the Galactica did so much damage.
Dee and Roslin's assistant (I forget his name) had some tender moments amongst all the chaos.

Baltar's 'dream' about Adama drowning his and Six's baby...that was freaky.
I think Six must be brainwashing him some more, somehow...

It was sad that the injured man from the raptor on Kobol ended up dying, in the end. They'd gone to get the medicine for him, but it wasn't enough. I really enjoyed watching Chief Tyrol in those scenes.

Kara and Helo on Caprica was awesome, I loved their quiet moment in her apartment. It was really eye-opening to see what kind of place Kara used to live in, with all the art everywhere. Interesting to hear how she didn't even miss it, unlike most of the others who left.

I'm glad both Lee and Roslin are out of the brig.
Lee and Tigh had a tense exchange of words near the end of the episode, that was great!
