Bill Adama: I have a mission for you, Kara.
Kara: Anything for you, you know that.

Bill Adama: "What's happening?"
Kara: My cover was blown. I had to move. I'm sorry."
Bill Adama: "Any casualties?"
KAra: "Two marines. Probably KIA... at least one of the gunmen... and Lee. It was crazy in there, confused. He got hit."
Bill Adama: "How bad?"
Kara: "I don't know."
Bill Adama: "Stand by. Hold your position. Make no move unless you hear from me."
Kara: "It was friendly fire. Lee got hit by friendly fire. I think it was me."
Bill Adama: "You have your orders."

Lay Down Your Burdens Part I 2x19
Bill Adama: "Actual. Go."
Kara: "Did I ever say "thank you?"
Bill Adama: "No. Then again, that would be a first, wouldn't it?
Kara: "Thank you."
Bill Adama: "Just come back in one piece. That'll be thank you enough. Good hunting. Actual out."

Season Three Moments

Bill Adama: ...That leaves six civvies in line to refuel.
Roslin: So we have another ten hours and we're done, yeah?
Bill Adama: Starbuck?
(The lights go out all around her; she turns without noticing.)
Bill Adama: What do you hear?
Kara: Nothing but the rain.
Bill Adama: Well then, grab your gun and bring in the cat.
Kara: Wilco, Admiral. Madame President.
Roslin: Captain. How is it out there?
Kara: Hell of a view.
Bill Adama: We're almost to the finish line, then we can jump the hell out of this system.
Kara: So say we all.
(She turns, holding out the Aurora.)
Kara: Um. actually, sorry. Boss, I have something for you. I thought that it would be a nice figurehead for your model ship.
Bill Adama: Aurora. Goddess of the dawn.
Kara: Yeah. Brings the morning star and a fair wind. A fresh start.
Bill Adama: Thank you. Good hunting.
Kara: Thank you.
(He holds the figure up for Laura.)

Season Four Moments

He That Believeth In Me 4x01
Bill Adama: (arriving) How does it work, Kara?
Kara: It's a feeling. An intuition. I didn't use nav fixes to get there and back. When we were at that nebula, it was so clear to me. But every jump we take farther away, the clarity fades. If we keep jumping like this, I won't be able to find our way back.
Bill Adama: (dismissing Helo) That'll be all.
Dualla: All hands, prepare for jump in ten...
Bill Adama: (quietly) The president's adamant. We're gonna continue on the course laid out by the Eye of Jupiter.
Dualla: Five, four, three, two... Jump.
(Kara gets a headache and starts shaking.)
Kara: We're going the wrong way. If we keep jumping like this, I'm gonna lose the feeling completely, never be able to take us back.
Bill Adama: What do you want me to do? You want me to go to Laura Roslin? Tell her, "Forget Pythia and the Eye of Jupiter, because Kara has some feeling about where Earth is?"
Kara: Yes.
Bill Adama: I can't. I just left your ship. There's not a scratch on it. It's brand new. How do you explain that, Kara?
(She begins crying and he looks away, ashamed.)
Kara: Look at me. Look at me! I swear to Gods... It's me. Kara. I can do this. You once said you loved me like a daughter. If you still do, you've got to trust me on this one.
Bill Adama: I can't afford to.
(She leaves, sadly. Marines follow.)

Six of One 4x02
Kara (upon being released from the brig and told she's being given a ship): So you think I'm right?
Bill Adama: Maybe. Maybe not. But I know she is, the President. She's been right all along. I'm tired of losing. I'm tired of turning away from the things that I want to believe in. And I believe you when you say that you'll die before you stop trying. And I won't lose you again. (emphatically)
Bill Adama: Now go. Find a way to Earth.

Sine Qua Non 4x08
(Hangar Bay )
Bill Adama: What do you hear, Starbuck?
Kara: Nothing but the rain, sir.
Bill Adama: Grab your gun and bring the cat in.
Kara: Yes, sir.
Bill Adama: Keep a light on. I'll be back.
Kara: You can count on it.

Islanded In A Stream Of Stars 4x18
Bill Adama: In other words, it's our destiny to go after her, right?
Kara: (facial expressions and body language indicates "yes")
Bill Adama: Wrong. I've had it up to here with destiny, prophecy, with God or the Gods. Look where it's left us. The ass end of nowhere; nearly half of our people are gone; Earth, a worthless cinder; and I can't even walk down the halls of my ship without wondering if I'm gonna catch a bullet for getting us into this mess.
