I still didn't know they were that close either but their scenes together were great

I liked her scenes with almost everyone although with Meredith and Derek was painfully awkward, and Alex so didn't deserve a hug.

i've always loved that too, the great quotes and the way the actors deliver them. Especially Kate, she always has the perfect facial expression to go with her lines, especially when she raises an eyebrow i love that
