I have a couple of reasons:

Because she's McHot
Because she was only meant to be in 5 episodes but she is still there!

I know they're not too good but I wanted to write a reason about how she started off as the enemy (cuz most ppl liked merder) but won everyone over - yet I couldnt think of a good short way to word it...

They're good reasons and you're right, we weren't supposed to like her. I forget that sometimes because I can't understand how anyone could not like her.

So how about:
