Ok, I was all pro the Ahley and Aiden thing in season 1, but after season 2 I really really don't like it that much anymore.

I thought this was the most pointless storyline this season and basically thrown in there to add some drama to Spashley. I don't for a second believe that Ashley still has feelings other than brotherly for Aiden.

I would have bought this more if Aiden still had feelings for Spencer or something, but not Ashley. They ruined a good friendship between the two with this development.

I couldn't post in this thread fast enough. I just hate the whole concept of them even being a threat to Ashley and Spencer, it's so stupid. Grr!

Oh thank god for this thrad. I like them as friends but nothing more. I think the only feelings Ashley has for Aiden are like family. She doesn't want to lose him since he's like the only family she has. But as a romance? Hellllll nooooo.

It was just weird. In season 1 we had Aiden leaning towards Spencer. And now, in season 2 he has done a 180 and goes for Ashley again.

That's what I dislike about it the most, the fact that it came out of nowhere. I do understand that they have a history and they've been through a lot together, but they never showed a strong bond of any kind in S1, let alone a romantic one, and then all of a sudden in S2 Aiden's the family Ashley never had? What?

I've said it before, I'll say it again:
To end this season with a bisexual triangle is insulting to every young lesbian who started watching this show b/c of the subject matter. It is incredibly ironic that the girl who had the most experience and seemed completely comfortable with her sexuality turned out to be the one confused and in need of advice. That message they were trying to send out is now completely undermined.

I'm pretty radical when it comes to writing because I'm a journalism major. And, to see plot holes and storylines undermined for the sake of "shock value" is completely insulting to me not only as a viewer, but as a professional as well.

I vote for bringing in a new girlfriend for Spencer next season. And for Ashley to go ape **** over it - obviously.

I would be totally for that, but I honestly don't think I could hangle seeing Spence with someone else, just like I can't stomach seeing all the nasty and random Ashley and Aiden flirting.

They have no chemistry whatsoever in my opinion, probably due to Matt's wooden acting.

i know seriously... ive watched the behind the scenes specials about how mandy and matt are so close off screen but on screen you would never know it because they really don't have any passion or connection btw the two. I really think Gabby and Mandy have awesome chemistry and thats what makes them so good on screen
