Yes, we had snow last Thursday/Friday. We only had about 10 inches here. Up north got more. However, today it is 4 degrees here with wind chill of -25. Some schools are closed or delayed due to being so cold.

Only 10 inches??? Wow! We think it's a catastrophe here if we get about 2 inches, and that's quite enough to cripple our railways, roads, etc.

Yes, only 10 here. It only slows things down for about a half day or so here. Boston and parts of NY and out west in Chicag got feet of snow. Sadly, no snow day for me. Kids got one on Friday. So they went back from Christmas break on Thursday and were off again.

It is crazy cold again today. Supposed to warm up tomorrow. THe whole United States is pretty much affected now with these crazy temps. Even Florida is cold and saw snow.

My Godmother's husband, who is American, used to live in Virginia when he was young. His dad was in the Marines.

You don't get snow in Vrginia? I didn't think our weather would be much different than mine. Are you closer to North Carolina or DC?

We haven't had any snow so far this year, and there's nothing in the long-range weather forecast either. I bet we get a load in March, like we did last year

I am thinking we will have a few more storms here. At least it is not the brutal cold that it was last week and we just have rain today.

Yes it was. Not a fan of those kind of temps. I don't like to have to wear all the layers and hats, gloves etc.
