I ♥ 13. I'm rooting for her to to live! She can't die! The ep worked. The show would not be the same without her! I've been sucked in! I can't wait to watch the ep again and again. They have to make her not be sick,all the treatments she took in this ep have had to magicaly healed her some how! How can I live without my 13 fix? She has to be ok so we can have Fourteen!

I loved the episode. Was at the edge of my seat all the time (and cursed every time the commercials came up again ) Absolutely genius writing for House and Jason to have something in common: They're both looking for the answer and there was no other motivation for their actions. When House gave him back his gun, I cheered in front of the computer, because it was so like House to do that. The end was beautifully done, when House silently asks Jason if the treatment worked and he smiles.

Loved Thirteen in it (and that's no sarcasm). It's nice to have this turning point for her where she realised she does want to live. I also think it was a good acting job by Olivia. I liked how House cared for her, because I always adore it to see this caring look on his face. Ivanek was the great actor I expected him to be and it created great chemistry bewteen him and Hugh's awesome acting. I also liked the other hostages very much, especially the young guy who stayed pretty much until the end and the nurse. Chase walking out during the ddx was very much in character with his recent developments, but it was a pity that he did not turn up again. The incorporation of the fellows, old and new, was good, but I really think there should have been more Wilson. As we found out in "Birthmarks" that he is afraid of losing House, it would have been great to see more of what's going on in his mind in this situation.

Really liked how they incorporated House/Cuddy, without pushing it too much to the foreground. I think the SWAT guy calling House Cuddy's "boyfriend" though was done a bit over the top. I'm not convinced he could pick up exactly that Cuddy has feelings for him. But the last scene with the drawer convinced me once more of my belief that the writers always manage it to do everything the "House-ian" way. That was a funny ending for a thrilling episode.

Great directing job by KJ again, I have to say. She really has a talent for creating impressive pictures from some uncommon and interesting angles. Everything came very well together with the music as well.

I liked the episode too, mostly because of the brilliant acting of Hugh and Ivanek. It really was amazing and the fact that House and Jason were both desperate for an answer was a really good point in the storyline!

I didn't like 13's role in it because like House said, she wants to cheat death and that is a weakness, and I really haven't felt any sympathy for her when she took all these drugs, it was just...

However, I don't know, it seems to me that something is missing from the show and I guess I miss the way it was before season 4. I'm still not interested in the new ducks and for me they just doN#t fit... I miss Chase, Cameron and then old dynamic so much....
It just doesn't fit for me any more, it's not the show I loved and that leaves me a little bit sad and annoyed after every episode.

I really liked how the real ducks and the wannabes worked together.
And surprisingly enough, I actually liked House in this episode well, except for the part where he gave him the gun back

I found the parallels between the patient and House very interesting - they both want an answer.

So...I'm not sure if I liked the episode, I normally don't like these "special" ones with guns in hospitals and stuff. It also didn't leave me on the edge of my seat. The suspense mostly came from the acting IMO.

I agree, I really liked the music and how it all came together with the directing. Maybe KJ should stick to directing

The scene with the tied up people walking around the hospital looked as hilarious as the promo pics suggestes

13 She had her epiphany...great, I'd rather have her dead. And the scene with Foreman at the end, yuck. I'm really not looking forward to her Huntington's eating up another round of screentime.

I don't know about House givinig back the gun I know he is obsessed with getting answers and stuff and that was the explanation, but that was just plain stupid and irrational. I didn't like it.

I liked that last Huddy scene, with them acknowledging that they are enablers. I don't know about the drawer thing...I'm not sure I got the message that was supposed to send

Not enough Wilson/Cam/Chase but considering the specialty of the episode I'll excuse it If it continues...

Good episode , enjoyed this one more than I thought I would.

It all went **** up for House and Co, as another patient came in the clinic with a gun. House keeps attracting these patients with guns considering what happen in 'No Reason'

The House/Jason scenes were good and I did really like some of the House off remarks that he said. Pity 13 was in the hostage room with them, would have preferred some else, like one of the ducklings. Also I had a feeling that during the MRI scene that House would give back the gun to Jason, once he didn't have the diagnosis, it would carry on until he did.

Really liked the mix of ducklings/new team again. interesting that Chase couldn't really give two hoots about House and left basically at the beginning of the eppy. Maybe he still has resisment of the way he was treated, and also Foreman leaving half way through. So the only duckling who stayed from beginning to end was Cameron, and also Cameron finding out in the end what Jason's condition was, see House, should never let her go

Finally Thirteen had a knock on the head and realised she didn't want to die and really nice scene with her and Foreman in the end.

Completely forgot about the joke that House played on Cuddy until we saw it at the end, which just confirms my thoughts that they should be friends and no more.

And House looked damn worthy in his T-shirt

This was a really great episode but I would've put Cameron in with the hostages because that would've made more sense. I felt so bad for 13 because she really looked like she was about to die right there. Poor thang!

House/Jason scenes were great, Ivanek did a great job with keeping everyone under his gun.

Again, No Cameron or Chase I need some more of them it's just not HOUSE! to me if there is less of Cam and Chase.

I just saw the episode and I personally liked it because Hugh and Ivanek did a great job,they have chemistry and I could feel for both of them. What I also liked was the way House acted with the POTW and 13,he subtly showed a "softer" side and he was genuinely worried for 13.Finally they managed to make it slightly more about House and the POTW than the Huddy even if the Huddy almost ruined it by just being "subtly" thrown in .I also like that House somehow manages not to hate or hold a grudge on people like the POTW,people who try to hurt him but with a reason he sees as valid and not exactly personal,just 'cause.This to me is further proof of just what an amazing person he truly is inside and of how he tries to see the full picture.Yeah,I was probably not too coherent on that last bit LOL.

I liked that Cameron was,in the end,as always,the only one to stick by House's side (the new ducks aren't included 'cause they're paid to do their job).Chase is one of those characters you generally like but hate so much at times and I hope he and Cameron break up.Cameron helped House get to his diagnosis which was wonderful but there was,sadly,absolutely nothing ship related besides the wonderful chemistry they have even when they're not in the same room .

I hated the Huddy which was center stage in this episode again and it almost ruined it,all the slow movement or glances that were supposed to create subtle moments of emotion between House and Cuddy failed because House and Cuddy have no chemistry and that made the whole scene look stupid and soap-opera-ish.Cuddy gets more and more ridiculous each episode and House liking her makes him look bad,he used to like strong women and she's not one of those,she's not as damaged as he is(or as Cameron and Wilson are)but she's far more openly vulnerable and weak than them.Sure,the writers actually believe she's strong but I can't see it that way.Maybe I'm biased.
Either way I think House does have feelings for her and right now there's no House/Cam ship,just a sort of House/Wilson-like friendship which is a shame because Cameron is always helpful to House and knows exactly what he needs and how to treat him and respond to him.At the same time she can be his friend,she can enable him while also keeping him in his place and she can hold her own and not be his toy.

Now,I have a perfect reason for why I think I might not be completely biased when saying I hate Huddy and think they have no chemistry. My reason is that ,in this episode,for the first time ,I actually enjoyed 13 there and I thought she(Olivia W.) and House(Hugh) have great chemistry .I'd say that after Jennifer Morrison ,Hugh has most chemistry with OW and Mira Sorvino.He didn't have much with Sela Ward either but I didn't mind it that much . This does not mean I want them to get together or want 13 to have so much screentime,the attention she's being given is ridiculous and makes me hate her in a way but I am willing to admit that I thought she had chemistry with House.
Also,I kinda' thought it would have been so great to have Cameron there instead of 13.The sad thing is that ,even this episode happened in one of the first 3 seasons then it would have been Cameron,for sure.

Oh and personally I thought that when House said "God No" the scene was played in such a way to show that House just wanted to get out of that,I think he does have feelings for Cuddy but he doesn't want to be with her,he doesn't think it would work and he'll never willingly admit to anything. I mean,come on,let's be honest now,in season 1 he bluntly told Cameron he doesn't like her and we didn't believe a word so why not be objective and realize that there's a chance to have the same happening here.Thing is that this Huddy didn't end after a couple of episode,it's still going and every episode is full of it so it's no longer a market strategy when they push on it in the media,it's no longer a passing thing.Have u seen the promos for next week?It's all Huddy again.
Still,maybe House will fall out of love with Cuddy sometime in the next years and at least find someone else if not Cameron.
