| Fan Forum's Finest | The more I think about it, him mentioning Cuddy to that dying guy would have been a little too convenient. Even the newly reformed House isn't "cured" enough to talk about his true feelings, so mentioning Lydia was probably the easier option, I think he was deflecting. Plus it was her who made him realize he wanted a relationship at all and that in turn gave him the courage to actively pursue Cuddy, so like it or not, I guess she was a pretty important turning point in his life. I honestly don't think it meant he still harbored hidden feelings for her or anything. I think his regret over her was the fact that she encouraged him to open up in the first place, because that has only led to him getting hurt again by Cuddy's rejection. After reflecting, that's what I take from it all.  | |||

| I don't think he should have mentioned Cuddy either.... that would have been... weird  and like you said too convenient ...but then he shouldn't have mentioned Lydia either. And if he was just deflecting... I wouldn't really mind if it was made clear somehow (or at least clearer) that's what he was doing. | |||
