I think the female leads will be huge in the success of this movie. Zac is amazing, but he needs a supporting cast that can really deliver both the fan base and the talent to make the movie really memorable. There have been so many flimsey romantic comedies that just skim the surface of stupidity and predictability. I'm really hoping this is more and really has some interesting character development and plot twists. The right girls could really help elevate this. I'm really hoping it is more than most of the rom-com's we've been getting. Zac is capable of so much more. I'm really not sure this was a good next move. but I know he will be great, even if the plot stinks.

And to think we all new it would just take that "perfect role" to catapult him and it happened at a very iffy time in Zac's life and career. I couldn't be prouder of this man right now

I'm so happy everyone is now seeing what we've seen from the beginning. Zac is special and has so much to offer in every genra...if comedy broke him out of their blindness....fantastic. But i hope he keeps mixing it up, doing everything that interests him. He's proven himself, now he needs to pick projects that inspire and challenge him and take risks that will make him feel proud of himself, not just the BO drama. All of the really important stars had winners and losers as far as critics and BO, so keeping his spirit challenged and inspired is what will keep him happy and healthy, IMO. I don't really care if he has huge BO hits as long as he is happy and fufilled with his life.

I completely agree. What I love about him is that he generally has a good variety of films. I'm still waiting for the action movies. I know that's probably way down the road but that would be an awesome genre for him to try one day!
