I think many are doing both but not many mention it.. it's nice that they say they're doing both, cuz 3000 celebs all doing the icewater thing and nothing else...where is the money coming from?

People were doing it here locally but the whole thing behind it made no sense. If you did the ice bucket, then you didn't have to donate money, so WTF? And here locally, there were a lot of different charities being mentioned, but from what I saw, no one ever had to donate

I'm glad most celebs are donating AND taking the ice

right, that's supposed to be the deal..there's a bunch who would never do that and therefore would rather just donate the cash-..
