I love how he gained more confidence up on stage and just had so much fun with it - it was the most fun he'd had on the entire vacation!

Once he let down that barrier, he allowed himself to have fun, pure joyful fun, it wasn't about 'performing' or showing off or whatever.

Exactly! He just let loose and I'm sure he was really thankful later that his mom made him go to the "kids party."
