We're very good friends."~ Zac Life Story: Who did you get closest to on the set? Who really became your friend? Zac: It's tough, because I got to know all the cast in their own individual ways. I definitely had a great vibe with Nikki; I think she's an amazing girl and I think we'll be friends for years to come after doing this film together. Elijah as well - Elijah is just so much fun to be around and he's just a cool, cool guy. Everybody has their unique attributes they bring to the movie and also, you know, as people. So it was fun just getting to know everyone and what they are really like. "Zac was really fun. He's a nice guy---he's from San Luis Obispo, where my grandparents lived before they passed away, so I've been going there since I was born. We definitely bonded over that fact. He's a nice guy and we had a lot of fun, so we're friends and we we'll remain friends. I'm a little bit older than him, so I feel like an older sister. (smiles) “At this point, they haven’t really talked to us yet, but I know that it’s an idea that they’re developing, and it sounds like fun…it sounds like a good idea.” Nikki “All I have to say, on the record: I am so down… I am ready to play Tracy Turnblad again”~on ET! What’s the update on the Hairspray sequel? “I have no idea!” Nikki tells me. “I think Tracy’s gonna be the last one to find out. They’ll call me when they need me in rehearsals, I guess.” Where would she like her character to go? “I hope she gets to make out with Link some more,” she laughs. TWIST: Do you think they’re going to be able to get the cast back? NB: I know that I just spoke to Amanda the other day, and I know that me and her, honestly, what you see on camera as Tracy and Penny, we’re like that in real life, like Nikki and Amanda we’re just crazy. We definitely would love to play Tracy and Penny again. I know that Zac would totally be down for it as well because we can’t have anybody but the Link Larkin. He’s the only one that makes Tracy’s heart beat. So, yeah I think they would be able to get everybody back, everybody that would really be important to the story line that they’re writing for the second one. Were you upset that plans for a Hairspray sequel were scrapped? I love Hairspray so much. It’s just magical to me. I would just die to work with John Travolta again. We’re very close, and I still speak to him all the time. Same with Amanda Bynes and Zac Efron, which I know girls will like to hear. It was such a fun, life-changing experience for all of us. Elijah "I think that’s pretty much a no brainier. I would. I would definitely go back and do a Hairspray 2, 3, 4, 9. Hairspray 9. Hairspray 10 is going to be called Hair Gel. It’s like going to be a sequel. It’s going to have finger waves, braids, bald heads and all that stuff." ~on his video blog “I can’t talk about it a lot. I know it like a big announcement.
