So I was musing over the line "but, if you wanna go there..." following the spiel about 'college applications' and 'business experience'.
I seriously think I only paid attention to that line properly for the first time the other night when I watched it. I was like

I wonder if Mike would have felt 'betrayed' if she had wanted to go there... I mean in her brain it would be like cheating on him, you know? Does this make sense?

it does actually. But i don't think he'd feel betrayed, he'd be too caught up in the taught that his Scar wanted him.

I hadn't thought about it, but that is a good point.

I'm just always so amused at him all "I didn't even mean it like that."

It's so hilarious how in a scene before that, he walks up to Scar and Naomi, and he does his little speech about how "If this were Afghanistan, you would be dragged through the streets by goats." Just the way he says and his expression, you can tell he's desperate to get a point across to Scar - sadly she didn't know it was really her Mike in front of her.

That was one of those lines where everyone laughed and I laughed too on first viewing. And then viewing number 2 is when that desperation comes across...
