I don't know I haven't read a lot of 17A fanfic but it would definitely be an interesting read

Seeing what happened between him & his daughter (btw loved that -- very reverse Back2TheFuture-ish!) I don't doubt that would be an interesting convo..? That's why I don't think he would say much about it to them & just let them believe Mark left or something. It would probably be too much for the son too having had confided very private stuff to what was his best friend at the time- not his dad.

They did it in a cute & fun way though like in Back 2 The Future, so it wasn't all that weird watching it, at least..
