well, so far he's charmed us in horrible wigs, stringy, shaggy hair in his eyes and shaved bald. I don't think there is anything he can't pull off!

Maybe because it seemed to me like Ward was a fair bit older than Jack so maybe more stuff was put on him too in terms RL & protecting Jack.. IDK.

or liked Ward better because he followed in his steps going into his newspaper business and won big awards..he seemed to really put a lot into his reputation, so he could just live of Ward's success and brag, Jack not so much to brag on, he disgraced him getting kicked out for a prank, and no real goals, the dad seemed really hard nosed so wouldn't like failure, he turned on Ward too when he disappointed him and found out he was gay and made his whore the new boss instead of giving the business to Ward. He seemed to have a lot of evil in him from the way he treated everyone, the story was just boiling in evil surrounding an innocent young boy and how he reacted to it all.

I love the look on Jack's face in that gif. That is the moment that he was eyeing the other VanWetter that he later came across in the swamps. It was almost like he knew something wasn't right, even then.

I think he knew, but also he saw him with different eyes than the rest because he didn't have anything invested in the situation other than his strong (if not slightly misguided Oidipus complex
) feelings for Nicole's character. Just love the way Zac portrayed that intensity throughout the Movie! __________________

What I liked about "Jack" was that he really didn't have that filter
