Avery (tidbit2008) said something in the episode discussion thread about speculating on how long it will be before we see Ricky and Ron again. So I thought we should have a spec thread, just to see where everyone thinks this show is heading. You can spec on characters, storylines, set changes, wardrobe changes, guest appearances, etc. BUT, and this is a huge BUT...NO SPOILERS. Leave your spoilers in the spoiler thread in the spoiler forum please.

Ok, two questions to get the speccing going...and take us into winter hiatus:

When do you think we'll see good ol' Ricky and Ron again?

What do think Martha is writing her story about?

Oh, okay a third question...who do you think is the father of the baby? Someone we've already met, or someone we have yet to meet?

I think we'll see R&R in the 3rd or 4th episode after winter hiatus.

Martha's story is going to talk about the show's comeback and about how Danny/Matt have breathed life into a show that no one thought could climb back to the top. I think it's going to wind up being good

If it's someone we've met: Danny. But I'm going to say that it's probably someone we haven't met.

I think Matt and Harriet will add color to the article but not dominate it.

I hope M/H don't dominate it. I don't think they will.. but I'm not sure it would completely surprise me if the article turned into a M/H tell all instead of a look at S60. I'm just hoping that she respects M/H's privacy.

I just don't see that character doing that. Sure they'll be in it. She wouldn't have spent so much time asking them questions if she wasn't going to use it. But if the whole article is about them I really misjudged her character.

While I wouldn't be surprised, I have a hard time seeing her do that too. She's not a tabloid reporter and I just.. she seems like a better journalist than that, message board poster quotes and all.

I wonder what her article will be like. I've been watching and rewatching the Long Lead Story. I love that episode. I love Sting's performance at the end. I love how Matt tells Martha he was trying to impress Harriet and that's why he finally got his big break. I just love it all. And Martha makes a comment about how most of the country doesn't seem to get along but for an hour each week, Matt and Harriet push aside their differences and work together. And that intrigued me.

It makes me wonder, I don't think she'll make Matt and Harriet the dominate feature of the article because as someone pointed out, it's an article about the show and how Matt and Danny are trying to bring it back. However she focuses an awful lot on interviewing Matt and Harriet--but for obvious reasons...Matt is the head writer, Harriet is really seen as one of the stars of the show, especially because of her Christian upbringing, and they were once together and now split up they are back working together.

^^Based on that, I have no clue where she's going. She relies on Internet posters too much.

Okay, now that the new promo has aired, what are your thoughts? No spoilers please. Stick to just what we know based on that promo. I'm pretty sure promos (once aired) are no longer spoilers. Anyways, I feel like Danny is must be bothering Jordan--being too over-protective. She's feeling smothered.

Then, there's something in the way she says it and is looking at him.. She looks sad and pleading like she's even a bit desperate. If she's desperate for him to stop, then couldn't it also mean that if he doesn't, she might give in? I may be reaching.. it's just something in the way she says it.. I think things will still come out in our favor. And of course the fact that she's looking at a picture of the two of them together doesn't hurt either

good point , I thought about this too. His face just killed me though.
