Sounds like an intense episode, or rather set of episodes.

I'm excited about tonight's episode. It will be phenomenal...as all the previous ones have been.

If it's as good as last week, we'll have nothing to worry about

Less than 12 hours to go!

Oh wow.... People are wondering why Veronica Mars got cancelled... when they should be wondering why Studio 60 got axed.

This episode was once again, fantastic. The acting was top notch, the writing was amazing, the pacing was perfect...

Only thing though, not enough Jack. I understand why they didn't show us his reaction over Jordan's own problems, there wasn't enough time, but I would've loved to see it.

The things I was most impressed about were Tom's storyline and the moments between Matt and Harriet.

I loved Jack kicking some a$$es over the phone. I've missed that side of him. And I loved his reaction when he was told about the non-military way to extract the hostages. Cal was also right, obviously, but I do like Jack being on Matty's side on this one. I love the depth the writers gave to this character.

The flashbacks were great. Didn't really make me like Danny, but they were very interesting, especially the one in the writers' room. Seeing Andy smile was quite something!

The Danny/Jordan storyline was very solid... I like how much Danny loves Jordan, I do... but I hate the way he can treat people sometimes. It's like when he doesn't care about someone, that someone doesn't exist for him. He is so self-centered sometimes...

The Harriet/Matty flashbacks at the end were the icing on the cake. That was such a brilliant idea and it gave so much depth and weight/substance to their relationship. That was truly beautiful.

The episode was wonderful. I would of liked to have seen Simon though. I loved seeing more of Cal and Jack. I loved Cal's points. The Matt and Harriett flashbacks were the best of the flashbacks and made me like that pairing again. Danny and Jordan were the best for me. I loved Danny's proposal and how they throw the comedy in with ring size and everything. I can't wait for next week's episode. I want Jordan, her baby and Tom's brother to be ok.

Superb episode on the whole.

The stuff surrounding Tom's brother and all was great. Nate's doing a great job with the material. Loved Matt trying to figure out how to get the hostages back but I agree with Cal - even if it would work, it's not the right way to go about it.

Danny/Jordan were incredibly sweet. I just The proposal was great. Everything was great. *keeps fingers crossed for Jordan and baby*

The Matt/Harriet flashbacks were really cool. Their scenes were great and I honestly think that if Danny hadn't called, Matt might have prayed with Harriet - and that's saying a lot about how far his character has come.

Jack was back in full form. He was great yelling at people over the phone and trying to take care of Tom. *crosses fingers for the hostages*

I can't wait for next week!

It was another fabulous episode. SpySyd, I agree that people should be wondering why this show got cancelled, because it is just incredible.

Once again, everything going on with Tom's storyline was done brilliantly. There is so much emotion there, you can't help being caught up in it. I enjoyed watching Jack try to control things and yet still attempt to be sensitive to Tom. I also enjoyed all of the scenes with Matt, Cal, Mary and Jack.

As always, I absolutely love Danny and Jordan. Even if he was being a little hard on the doctor, I don't blame him. In those situations you want to be assured that you have a good doctor taking care of things, and that guy wasn't exactly filling me with confidence that he knew what he was doing either. But their interactions with each other were wonderful and I hope everything turns out okay.

Matt and Harriet were just great. I really liked the flashbacks, especially the one at the end with them fighting. It was set to a perfect choice of song, in my opinion, and just came off really well. I just loved them in this episode.

Oh, and I didn't really miss Simon. I kind of liked that we heard that he was doing good things, being there for Tom, and yet we didn't actually have to see him.

a perfect episode.
I didn't miss Simon and Lucy, cause I don't like those 2 at all.

I think I never saw something so well written, acted, directed and edited at the same time.
This is my 2nd fav show of all times. And for the other tv shows I like I can't make charts and stuff, but I'm sure that Studio 60 is on top along with Friends.

I couldn't choose a favourite scene in those 40 minutes of perfection

The Matt/Harri fight trought the years was pure genius. It made me like them together, which I usually don't.
The proposal was amazing
I loved the flashbacks, especially the one with Andy and the one with Jack/Matt/Danny.I think Danny wasn't so great then because he was a junkie back then, right?
I loved Jordan's facial expressions when she was worried about Tom.
And I also loved Matt being worried about Tom
I won't even start about Danny/Jordan scenes,because,well you know,they were PERFECT
I love yelling Jack so committed into helping Tom.But then again I always love Jack.lol
Matt asking for a sign: priceless

THANK YOU STUDIO 60

p.s. That was funny to see the guy who played the doctor who took Jack place in the Lost finale. Here he was the army guy.
And I saw John Cabrera-Brian on Gilmore Girls- as a writer in the writer's room flashback

I guess I'm in the minority, I thought it was boring, I kept watching the clock, I thought it really dragged.

I can't stand Matt/Harriett or Danny/Jordan. No chemistry with either.

To each their own

It was both sweet and sadening to see the Andy flashback. We've never seen Andy smile like that. I'm with Matt as well - it was really neat how Andy didn't know anything, it was something else. But then at the same time, we know how that story ends. To see the beginning of it, to me, just makes the outcome that much sadder.

I adorked this episode, it was wonderful. I do agree with Brenda Corinthos about seeing Simon though, and even perhaps Lucy because love Matt, Call and Jack as I do they are far closer to him at this time than either of those three, but that’s nitpicking.

I loved the flashbacks of everything, the war, M/H, Jack and the boys because it was handled in such a great way. I often find flashbacks heavy handed but this was brilliant and totally in the vein of the story they were wanting to tell.

I conquer, Spysyd why did they axe S60?

I feel exactly the same. It was a powerful moment for those two. I’m an agnostic but I find the whole sense of faith (mostly without organized religious congregation behind it) fascinating and beautiful. I’m glad they went that route with them.

Danny was being a crazy man with asking all those question, that poor doctor. Still, I found him utterly charming in the way he was watching after Jordan. Their playful banter, even when Jordan was going into the operating room was so cute. I sure hope nothing bad happens.

Major love to Nate Corday. I just love my little lobster, poor Tom.

I LOVED this episode! I feel so sorry for Tom. I have a bad feeling that it's not gonna end so well for his part... :-( I liked Matt/Harruiet in this episode which is very rare. Danny/Jordan?? Oh, Danny/Jordan..... so cute! I don't agree with Mondlerlove, I think they Amanda and Bradley has great chemistry. I also don't agree wqith SpySyd when he...she??... thinks Danny was selfish. He was thinking mostly of Jordan and the baby and I couldn't blame him he got irritated at the doctor. I was too.

I did roll my eyes a little when Harriet kneeled and startyed praying. I think it was a little too much
