I've never seen the show but I had heard about the movie. I'm just glad to hear Amanda's gonna be on the big screen again soonishly

I've never watched the X-Files tv show but the last movie was kick butt, I loved it. Plus, with Amanda in it, I'm totally excited. Still if she gets at all involed with Mulder I'm gonna go postal. Scully/Mulder = OTP if ever there was one.

But I kinda doubt they'll go that route. The fans as a whole are too die hard for S/M.

Yeah, I don't think they'd go down that road unless they wanted to anger a heck of a lot of people.

That's true. But some shippers are pretty quiet, while others let the whole world know how they feel.

Which is fine with me. The only thing I don't like is shipper wars, because those can get ugly.

I modded a board ripe with shipper wars, and it was unfun let me tell you. It's also hard when there are shippers who ship a related couple like brother/sister or cousins...it freaks me out, man.

I just think some couples you can obviously see their chemistry, you don't even need to watch alot.

Soap fans are just extremely passionate about their shows to begin with, but it gets really scary when ships become involved. I've always stayed far away from it all.

Oh, and I was flipping through my Glamour magazine yesterday and was suprised to see that there was a lovely Gap ad with Amanda and little Frances. They're so cute.

.. Back in the day I tried to fight the good JaSam fight but some battles will never have a real winner and I'm glad I got out when I did. They were the first ship to really break my wittle shipper heart. 'nuff said.

I don't think there's ever really a winner when it comes to soap ships. People come and go and then come back again, and couples are together and apart so much that it gets crazy. Everyone will probably get their way for a little while.

True, which makes all the warring even crazier but there's no way to talk 'em out of it, lol.

That's why it's safer to just avoid it.

I think that's one of the reason I dislike triangles so much on shows these days. You just know it's going to get ugly with the shippers. Luckily, we don't ever have to worry about that here.
