I'd love to hear the stories they could tell. With all the different actors and actresses they've worked with, the deadlines they almost missed and the ones they did miss, trying to get their start in television, and trying to stay in it once they got there; it's an experience I'm sure I'd never forget.

Was looking into Aaron Sorkin and found out he was involved as a writer for A Few Good Men. I love that movie/play so it's no wonder I'm so charmed by SS.

I haven't seen A Few Good Men. But after I saw The American President, I think I loved him more. He's amazing.

Yup he wrote the play and the screenplay. Then he wrote American President. And then Sports Night, West Wing and Studio 60. All wonderful works of art.

Mandy, I figured since we're all into Sports Night we'd have even more appreciation for these two now. I have a quote from that pilot script that is good for this thread.

When he came in to meet me for the job of directing the Sports Night pilot, I asked him what he might do, as director, to make Sports Night more like Frasier. Tommy directed the pilot, about a dozen episodes after that, was an Executive Producer on the show and won an Emmy for it. The downside for him was that he would become my closest collaborator and confidant.

Yeah, I have even more appreciation for them after watching Sports Night. They are Matt and Danny, they are Casey and Dan...so awesome that they feed off each other in such a positive way.
