Here is the whole article, but all Underworld related info is below. comingsoon.net Ok - I know this will sound weird, but I hope they didn't go overboard on the sex scenes between Kate and Scott. Romance, yes, kissing, yes, serious kissing and a lot of it, you bet, a graphic sex scene with Kate's husband looking on, not so much. Kinda oogie. "After that, Len Wiseman, director of Underworld: Evolution came out and introduced a montage of footage that he edited together especially for Comic-Con that he promised would never be seen anywhere else. The sequence opened with a few scenes from the distant past with armored warriors on horseback, and it also showed lots of Kate Beckinsale's Selene in action. There also were a number of racy sex scenes, one between Beckinsale and Scott Speedman, who plays her werewolf lover Michael Corvin, and a bit of a threesome between three vampires. After the montage, Wiseman was joined on stage by his wife Kate Beckinsale, as well as Scott Speedman, and the movie's creature effects specialist Patrick Tatopoulos. Since they hadn't seen the edited footage yet, Wiseman showed the montage one more time for their benefit. Afterwards, Beckinsale told the crowd why she loved playing the character so much. "She's got a really great balance of being very cool and also, having a lot of vulnerability, which you didn't get to see a lot of in the first movie," she said, "And my husband likes me in the outfit." She wanted to use movies like Alien and Terminatoras the basis for her role as an action heroine, but when they first talked about the movie, Wiseman suggested that she check out Russell Crowe in L.A. Confidential instead. Beckinsale also gave everyone a great idea of what it was like putting on (and more importantly) taking off Selene's leather costume. When asked about the most difficult part of the movie, Speedman admitted that doing a sex scene with Beckinsale while her husband looked on wasn't particularly easy." | |||

| Thanks Erin for starting the new thread. Great title, by the way. texgirl, I don't think they will go overboard with the Michael/Selene sex scene. I remember one of the complaints from the first installment was there was no real contact scenes between them, and being that Len reads the internet comments, he probably thought the audiences wanted something like this. I do think he will make it romantic, just the one pictures that has been released where Michael is touching her face makes me think this.  | |||
