i would give my opinion but i really didnt get it i mean i would explain but i dont wanna spoil it the thing about the gun and how so and so died i mean i really was like what??
.. like you said about speedy he did play the self assured no nonsense guy very well like i said in my earlier post about the characters not having much depth i think that was good in a way and may have been intentional so you get on with the story line...i dont think the producer wanted the movie to be about the characters as much...but speedy played his character very well he is good at the serious kind of roles |

Addie, I wish I could get the film to download to my computer, but I can't. I have no idea why and it's very annoying! Perhaps someone would be so kind as to try and send it to me via email? Not sure if that would work either. Oh well.
As for my fab fic, I haven't forgotten about it, rest assured. I've just been terribly busy. It was my son's second birthday this weekend. But I have been thinking about the next chapter (only in my head, mind you) and I think it'll be good, once I get the time to actually write it out. That is the key. Glad to see all the Speedy love is going strong. And genki, your Speedy fan art is wonderful!! Thanks for sending it to me. __________________

I haven't been to the board much in the last couple of days simply because it is our Thanksgiving holiday weekend here in Canada. You know, family, turkey, and all that good stuff.
Addie, I will have to go and take a look at that clip again, I have seen it before but not in quite awhile. Erin, Happy Birthday to your little one. According to a posting on IMDB site,a filming for State of the Union has almost been completed, so maybe we will start to see photos or a trailer soon. |

Hi Guys! You'll be glad to know I am in fact plugging away at the next chapter in "The Road Trip" as we speak (so to speak).
I couldn't watch "Urban Myth," unfortunately, because I only have the Net at work and I can't figure out how to save it so I can watch at home. Marica, those pictures are excellent inspiration, and there is NO way to post too much of shirtless Speedy. Problem is, I'm staring at the pics instead of writing now. Hee hee. Just kidding. OT, but what are you all doing for Halloween, those who celebrate? I'm putting on my Scottish wench outfit from the Rennaissance Faire, and hubby's going out in full kilt. (He looks Really Cool in a kilt, hee hee.) I saw a lycan mask from Underworld in the costume shop at the mall. I briefly considered going as Selene, but I didn't have the $$$ to buy all the accoutrements that make up her costume. Maybe next year! __________________

Addie, I just watched "Urban Myth" again.
Scottie is oh, so sexy with the specs. You can see how unnatural it feels to him though, because he keeps adjusting them. Watching this short clip makes me realize that there is so many more facets to his acting ability. That is what is so great about life after Felicity. He was sort of reined in when it came to Ben's character, but as he explores different roles, we get to see much more of his capability to play edgy dangerous roles. I don't even think they have begun to tap the depth of his acting ability, which makes it all the more exciting for us, his fans. |

Hey everybody... Erin, I know it's a day early, but a Happy 2nd Birthday to your beautiful Ethan!
Maeve, hope you and your family had a wonderful holiday. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday of all. No commercialism, just the four F's... family, friends, food, and football! Caleon, I haven't dressed up for Halloween in years... I'm an old codger! Yours and your husband's costumes sound great though! I'm sure you'll both look adorable. Are you Scottish like a certain lad we all admire?! Addie, I'd love to be able to watch "Urban Myth" again (I remember watching it a long time ago), but my computer is so crapped up right now that I'm afraid to download anything, for fear it might be the proverbial straw that'll break the camel's back. Maeve, I agree about Speedy being reined in by Felicity, and the constraints of television (although it was sheer heaven being able to see him every week). Your comment made me remember this little blurb (which you might remember!) from a guy named Bill Chambers who reviewed the Felicity season 1 dvd... I know more about "Felicity" than anyone with a penis ought to. I had what I consider a pretty good excuse to watch the well-hyped pilot: the year previous I directed co-star Scott Speedman in a short film--I like to keep track of the Ursa Major alumni. But, and the name-dropping/bean-spilling ends after this indulgence, Scott does not belong on television, per se--as far as my experience with him goes, the medium is too controlled for his improvisational methods, which happened to lean towards the profane. It was a bit like observing a sedated tiger throughout "Felicity"'s run, though I'd bet my bottom dollar that the first time his character, Ben Covington, called someone a "dick," it was unscripted. The moment sparkles. And for good measure, here was his little Speedy comment from the season 2 dvd review... A mousy Russell joins ex-boyfriend Scott Speedman--who's as alternately smart-alecky and pensive as this erstwhile acquaintance remembers him--for "The List", while "Ancient History" sports a breezier yakker from Russell and that other Scott, Scott Foley ("Noel"). I'm waiting for his season 3 review! |

Caleon, it is such a pleasure to read your writing, stories and letters. It is so-o-o full of humor. Noone doubts it. You are not a "mutt", you are a talented, bright person. Thanks.

I've tried to post a link here. See what you can do with it. Otherwise, try to log on to atom films and look for "The Urban Myth". Good luck! And Happy Columbus Day, America! Addie __________________

Maeve, on a Monday, if I didn't laugh, I'd be screaming and beating my phone with a hammer. I'm glad you got a giggle!
BTW all, thanks for the info on Speedy's current projects. I never saw the first xXx, so I guess I gotta go rent it! __________________

MJW, I the comments by the reviewer, Bill Chambers. This is a guy I need to get into touch with. I want to know more insider details about our guy's personality. Is this guy the one who directed "The Urban Myth" then?

Happy Birthday, Ethan! Lots of kisses from Mommy, Daddy and me! TWO is a very important age - never mind that they call it the terrible two's. Many Happy returns !!!
