Nope.
I even got Lars+1 on my invitation. I'm sure she just added +1 to all her grandchildren and great-grandchildrens invitations because she can't keep track of the boyfriends/girlfriends  __________________

 then bring a plus one, even if it's only a friend thing  I was the the big disappointment to my Grandmother, I was her only Grandchild who she never got to see get married, didn't matter that she had great grand children coming put the wazoo.....whenever I got to see her, I was always reminded that that empty space on her mantle was because of me.  __________________

There is no need for that. My grandmother is not pushy or expecting anything from her grandchildren, she just wants for us all to be happy. It's gonna be good to see her and the rest of my dad's family again though. We don't get together that much anymore.
