The Wives: true fans of Ryan, we've loved him since before The Notebook. We are proud devotees of Ryantology, we are non-recovering Ryanholics. We know all about The Believer and Slaughter House Rules. syn. "the regulars"

The Ryantologists: devoted Ryan fans, but a bit under the wives. We are former Ryanholics (still un-recovered) and new converts to the wonderful world of Ryantology. We aspire to be one of his many wives.

The Ryanholics: Ryan fans. We are mainly The Notebook fans, maybe some us know him from Remember the Titans or MMC. We post every now and then. We are studying to be admitted into Ryantology.

The Notebookers: kinda Ryan fans. We only started liking Ryan or even caring about who he was when The Notebook came out. There is no shame in our game, but we don't know that much about him. We are quickly becoming Ryanholics. Common question: What's The Believer about?

Ryantology: a "Mormon-esque" religion where it is possible for Ryan Gosling to have more than one wife. We pray daily to the powers that be that The Notebook will come out on DVD and that we can all finally see The United States of Leland. We also ask that Ryan pose for some shirtless pictorials.

Goslimpics/Goslympics: competition of the wives to become number one.

The Alliance: formed by Chrissy (AliasUnknown) and Chelle (iluvjesslotz) on 9-14-2004 in which they join forces to beat down the other wives and claim Ryan for themselves.

omg i am so happy that u added me as a notebooker..after i saw the notebook, i needed to see ryan in other movies. i saw murder by numbers and the slaughter rule and i was just so blown away by his performance. i can't wait to see him in the believer. i first saw ryan in remember the titans and he was soo cute in the movie and hot..but i didn't start loving him until i saw him in the notebook...

Yeah, you should definitely see The Believer. It's such a powerful, amazing movie, and he's fantastic in it. It's my favorite movie of his.

Also, it's amazing how many people started posting here after Ryan's MTV appearance. Up until about a month ago, there was usually about six of us here.

Yeah, I'm glad more people are starting to post, because we're finally getting a board, and we'd tried so many times, but not enough people. Now though, because of the MTV appearance, we're getting one. , and I am SO happy about that.

ITA/ The Believer was really amazing. Ryan did such an awesome job in that movie...the whole story is so tragic.

and as someone who has started posting here since the MTV awards BUT If it counts for anything I have been a fan of Ryans forever (really I remember watching him in the MMC with his blondle hair...so cute ) The movie awards just made me come out of lurking.

I am so happy that he is getting his own board! i am definitely gonna be a regular cuz he is just so amazingly grreat!! i just got my friends to be obsessed wit him too, i showed them his pic and made them watch the notebook wit me, and they absolutely love him now, even though the notebook isnt why i love him so much ( atleast not the only reason ) cuz i have loved him since Murder By Numbers, ccuz he is so great in it, and it is a realli good movie,, soo ya, cant wait till the new board!!!
