Welcome to the thread Ar3d!
I hope so too, Gel. Rose-McGowan.com didn't update with Grindhouse stills but they did update with rare-ish candids and appearances from 2007. That's my fave one. It's from the Cannes Dolce and Gabbana party which she attended with Robert Rodriguez Last edited by Psycho Flower Child; 07-25-2007 at 12:56 AM |

Agreed tiggerylove09
I saw this picture on flickr.com. It's not Rose, but it's someone at Comic Con doing a dead on impression. Still prefer the original of course |

Actually, I went on RopeofSilicon.com: Movie News, Previews and Reviews and they say: Weinstein and Genius Products actually got a one legged girl in the Cherry Darling outfit.
A better picture of her: Oh and here's Rose is the costume but still with a leg Last edited by Psycho Flower Child; 07-26-2007 at 01:05 AM |

i love planet terror, i think i might get the dvd.. cherry darling is super cool although she may come off as a little bit of a schmuck at the beginning and RM's acting was so good on that breakdown scene where she sees that she has one leg left..

I love that photoshoot
And I agree with what you said about Cherry. She's a loser at first but comes out strong. That scene was really powerful; I also liked the ending and Cherry dancing for The Rapist and you know, the outcome |

Adding you sweetie
Here's an explantion straight from wikipedia: To accomplish the fake leg that Cherry sports after her accident, during post-production the effects teams digitally removed McGowan's right leg from the shots and replaced it with computer-generated props - first a table leg and then a M4 carbine. During shooting for these scenes, McGowan wore a special cast which restricted her leg movement to give her the correct motion, and helped the effects artists to digitally remove her leg. Also, Grindhouse DVD news from bloody-disgusting.com: The Weinstein Company and Genius Products announced today that the two films that made up the classically under-rated Grindhouse release will hit DVD on two separate, extended and unrated DVDs, according to IGN. Read on for details on "Death Proof" and "Planet Terror". Quentin Tarantino's serial-killer homage to the old school car chase film, Death Proof will hit shelves with over 30 minutes of additional, never-before-seen footage including the maddening "missing reel" (containing the excised lapdance sequence) as well as a black and white segment in the film's second act. The DVD will hit on September 18, 2007 for a price of $29.95. Features will include: -Finding Quentin's Gals -The Guys of Death Proof -Kurt Russell as Stuntman Mike -Introducing Zoe Bell -Quentin's Greatest Collaborator: Editor Sally Menke -Double Dare trailer -International Poster Gallery Meanwhile, the Robert Rodriguez zombie entry, Planet Terror, will attack with more footage, deleted scenes, a full commentary and the infamous missing reel. That disc will drop on October 16, 2007 for a price of $29.95 and its features will include: -Audio Commentary with Writer/Director Robert Rodriguez -International trailer -Deleted Scenes -Cooking School -10-Minute Film School -The Stunts -The Make-up and Effects -The Badass Babes -The Renegade Guys -The Costumes -The Production Design Aaand a picture to balance all the words Rose with her Grindhouse co-stars |
