I can't think of a title for this thread...does anyone have any suggestions?

This is a thread for the talented and lovely Rose Byrne, best known for her roles on the TV show "Damages", and "Troy". Come one come all to discuss this fabulous Australian actress!

I love all her roles, but one that I really love because I think it was a challenge for her was her role as "Alex" in Wicker Park.

She had to play a good friend who was also trying to get her friends boyfriend, so her character was two-faced, and she played it really well.

I saw that - I was def not rooting for her character! I like that she and Diane Kruger were in the film together - they were in Troy as well, but I don't think they had any scenes together in that film, so it was nice to see a movie where they shared some screen time!

I agree. I also really loved the chemistry she had with Josh Hartnett.

Of course for her character, you're not really rooting for her, but in a way you are.

Josh's character was the one she had been crushing on and all he does is take one look at Diane Kruger's character and he's in love, that must have been so heartbreaking!

Alex is my favorite role of hers too. When I first saw her in Troy, I was all "blah" with her. But she blew me away in WP and I've been a big fan ever since.

I didn't root for her character to end up with Josh's character though because I majorly believe they could never really love each other and that they'll never make each other happy. Or that Josh' character could ever love her the way she wanted him to. It's made even more evident when, in the end, she said, "Now you see me for who I am..." However, I felt for her more than all the other characters.

I felt for her character because she did have feelings for him before he met her friend, and her friend didn't know that was the guy so...
