His first audition was for the late Anthony Minghella's film, Breaking & Entering. Rafi landed the part of the young burgler, Miro. He gained recognition for his role and moved onto other characters. He appeared in two episodes of the highly aclaimed tv series, Rome. In 2008, he appeared alongside Michael Cera in Nick & Nora's Infinite Playlist. He will also star in the film adaptian of Inkheart.
