| Natalie Portman Appreciation Thread #8 - Because we'd like to get 'closer' to her Hey everyone! Yay, new thread! BTW, anyone know what number we're on?   Banner by Janine The title is a reference to Natalie's new movie, coming out December 3rd, which stars her, Jude Law, Julia Roberts, and Clive Owen. It's Closer, based on Patrick Marber's London play. It's directed by Mike Nichols. Right now everyone can see Natalie in Zach Braff's new movie, Garden State, starring Ian Holm, Peter Sarsgaard. | Just have to say I'm in love with her because of Garden State. I also just saw the trailer for Closer and I have to say it looks like a great film. Natalie as a stripper, oh my! __________________ You too can be a tragic rabbit; green and red your back, blue your manly little chest. But if you're ever goaded into being one beware the True Flesh, it will knock you off your tragic horse and break your tragic colors like a ghost breaks marble. | |||

| Yeah, please add me to the list as well. Does anyone know if there is nudity in Closer? She plays a stripper right? I just hope that it is "tasteful" nudity if any. Like Ashely Judd or Charlize Theron. Don't get me wrong, theres nothing wrong with nudity in films. I just don't want Natalie to have a movie like Demi Moore's Striptease. I know Natalie has more class then that but, then again sometimes you never know. | |||

| Added everyone! About the nudity question, apparently the only one who engages in any substantial nudity is Clive Owen.
