Extra courses? Why the thread title says she graduated but I'm hearing she gets tutored and teachers to send her homework, so I am [img]smilies/confused.gif[/img] as to whether she did graduate high school yet or not. [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img]

That confuses me too. I just found this thread but I've heard other interviews where its been said she has tutors that send her work since she has a hectic schedule.

So is it college or high school?

She looks so pretty in the Enrique video. Mischa's so photogentic.

I admit to being rather confused myself. I mean if she did graduate the tutors would be for college. And to be honest I don't think you can do that. I mean working actors and the like can have something worked out for them with regular school, but I think with college you just defer or something until you have the time to actually be present for the classes [img]smilies/look.gif[/img]

I love the Addicted video and I love Mischa in it.

I was fortunate enough to catch Mischa on TRL. She was adorable! I love her rapport with Ben and Adam. It's obvious they joke around a lot. It was so cute when she put her arm around Ben, but of course the tweens in the audience have to "woo" like in Saved by the Bell when people kiss lol. She seemed proud to be in the video. Adam was sorta teasing, haha. Like Cas says, I think the video gives her more attention from the MTV crowd. It isn't so bad... I loved Mischa's description of it. It's a jail inside his mind. Mischa knew what she was getting herself into. As posted, on TRL she said, "We wanted it to be kind of racy and Peter [Berg] is a great director and he's one of my favorites. I knew he'd do something cool with it. His videos are kind of racy." It was expected, and I thought the video was kinda cool.

It didn't seem so exploitive to me... while she's 17 (turning 18 in two months), she's not a puppet. She's a mature young woman who can make decisions on her career and I think this gives her exposure. I didn't think she appeared younger. I don't think it was meant that way. When she got out of her car with her trench and dark sunglasses she looked like a businesswoman, and also at the end when she was putting on lipstick, that outfit she was wearing looked business-like. Besides, isn't Ben MacKenzie 25? I don't want to name names, since I'm a fan of both, but I'm more squicked out by images such this and this. Pedophile's wet dream with the little girl props.

I am very very desensitized towards sex in the media, but something about that video kind of made me go "whoa".

Maybe it's because I'm not too fond of Enrique and his "music video plots"...

Now Ben McKenzie, that I don't mind. But then again, he doesn't have around 4 music videos with the SAME THEME. :: laughs ::

Blairy the Fairy I totally agree with what you said. For people to slam her for that would be wrong considering Ben is older than her.

Besides which, its just acting. And Mischa's been doing the acting/modeling for quite a while, obviously, since she's young. However, just because she's young doesn't mean she isn't mature. The video was quite tasteful when you compare it to other videos out there. Nothing about it seemed degrading to me,in my humble opinion.

And it obviously wasn't degrading to her because she did it.

I finally got her Lucky issue and the Seventeen with her spread. Very nice photos, hehe.

Oh, and I'm obsessed with MTV's Rich Girls and I noticed Mischa on that as well in the backround at that party....it was prom....does she go to their school possibly [ someone asked if they were friends ] but I heard their school rented out Tavern on the Green for that prom exclusively.
